These comments on every game. Southern hemisphere teams generally play in bigger stadiums than up north, with a much smaller population density. This crowd in a smaller stadium would fill it, but we don't have the population density needed to build stadiums that small. We mainly just have big ones and do everything in them.

Viewing on tv and crowd attendances for rugby has declined in nz for a number of reasons,post covid effects,cost of living crisis,too many stoppages in play,too many rules,reset scrums not enough ball in play action but I think people are also searching for deeper meaning in life

Cant think of any non international rugby team that fills a 34000 seater stadium for a regular league game. Tbf the majority of sports teams struggle to fill the ground. It tends to be nfl n football (excluding motorsport) that attract the 30k plus fans week in week out. Also need to think of demographics nz has a population of 3 million people compared to the US 350million.
