It's ridiculous that a team with a 2-8 record is even in the running for the playoffs. It should be the top 6, with the two two getting a week off.

Yeah all the talk is the comp was set up this way to ensure more Aussie teams got through - but at this rate it could be the bloody Crusaders that benefit 😅

What I like about 8 teams in the playoffs, is well first, there being more than just 3 playoff games (SF and Final). And how tight 7-12 is (Separated by 9 points, although was only 7 a week or 2 ago) and that no team in those places have a guaranteed playoff spot yet meaning the remaining games for those teams matter. But that's about it when it comes to having 8. 6 for me is definitely preferred over just top 4 assuming 3v6, 4v5, 1 and 2 playing the winner of those games, then playing the Super Final

A couple of problems the Brumbies seem to have had for several seasons now, is that they win a lot of their games by small margins and they're just not racking up the bonus points. This seasons table certainly bares that out.

Those sound like fair rankings even with my Hurricanes eye-patch on. The Blues do seem to have the momentum and some of those comeback wins show they’ll be tough to beat especially at Eden Park.

Yeah I dunno aye, even I'm not sure. The Canes doing so much rotation and still getting the results - I feel like they're less likely to dip if they get a few injuries than the Blues

Blues is a big call but as you say, big game this weekend I wish i could say I'm just disappointed with the Cruz. This weekend i tipped from disappointed into unhappy at halftime, and by the final whistle, it was bordering on angry. Anyway, hope other teams fans are enjoying it!

You say top 4 are a cut above the rest but i really font think you can count out reds entirely. Reds were very close to getting 5/5 wins against kiwi teams. Three of their losses were very narriw losses that arguably couldve gone the ither way against the top 3 ranked teams. Only thinkg bringing them down is thise bizarre loses to force and moana

@TwoCentsRugby Yeah, also interesting to look at, if the reds win their remaining games (which is possible, toughest game is away to fiji) and the chiefs lose their final 2 games which is against hurricanes and blues, I think reds actually pip the chiefs and will end up 4th. Either way 4th or 5th, I think they will be happy to meet the chiefs in the quarter final. They are their bogey team
