***** I know the feeling. I live in the city where it's not all that big. If I ever get a street pass it's like maybe one in a thousand. I think when Nintendo designed the street pass function they really only had Japan like cities in mind, where population density is crazy high. Basically you have to live in a big city or just plain travel a lot just to get a good chance at street passes. Other than that your best bet is to go to a convention, usually people will have a DS with them.

The one thing I really miss is the berry block game. For those who DON'T know: at every concert hall ,there are the berry block stations. In the first games (Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald) you could choose your berries with an old man (or more, depending at the concert hall you were at). You'd play a mini-game where you picked a berry and when it started, an arrow from the machine would spin. Every time it came around your arrow, you'd hit 'A' and it would get faster as you went. Whatever color the berries were, it would make that color pokeblock. It was a fun mini-game and I'm kinda sad it wasn't in OR AS...

The idea for Blissey bases is really great I mean it's like the best way to get level 100's which is helpful considering some Pokemon only get their unique move at level 100. The only thing better that I can think of are Audino bases

You need a 3DS with a capture card inside it and then you need a game capture device to link up your computer so it records it. Complicated stuff but it's what you need to record it.

I love Super secret bases! And I mean I REALLY love Super secret bases! They give you a sense of involvement in the Pokemon series besides the actual Pokemon. Sure the Pokemon themselves do have quite a abit of customization with EV Spreads and Items but Secret Bases literally let you make your own little area that is yours to decorate as you see fit. And with them now being fully integrated with the Online introduced with the 4th Generation, Super Secret Bases are now even more interesting. All I can say now is I really would love to see this get reused in future Pokemon games and maybe flushed out even more in terms of what you can do. Great work Gamefreak, keep up the amazing work.

How to get level 100 pokemon easily. First, Get the lucky egg and place it on the pokemon that needs to be level 100. Then go to blissey bases and kill the blisseys. You will Apox get 60+ levels Do it around 1-2 more times and BAM! Level 100.

Does anyone know why my secret bases aren't resetting? I added the 6 in secret meadow 1st and it was normal, reset daily at midnight, but when i added the secret shore trainers it started taking 2 days to reset. i recently obtained 30 flags and something from the guild dude that allowed me to set the battles in my own base as triple and that was 3 days ago and my bases havent reset yet.

Awful lot of effort to go through if someone really wanted to use mega Garchomp but had no interest in secret bases. I think that's quite unfair. The rewards for moving up secret base ranks should be entirely secret base related, therefore if you choose not to bother with secret bases you aren't missing out on anything good.

Pokemon is still one of the most pointless games to beat. If this is still fun for you then you've got nostalgia glasses or are too young to read this comment. It has no difficulty There's no sense of satisfaction from getting any of that stuff because there's no one else to care. You could collect all the pointless flags, capture all the pointless pokemon, and level all of them to 100 to do what? Brag to 9 year olds that you're better at pokemon than they are? People are tricked into playing the game because it's so easy it gives people who suck at gaming something they can win. I see that now after not playing Pokemon since Diamond/Pearl. One day I just stopped playing because I realized that nothing in that game gave a sense of accomplishment or was really that fun in the first place.

I personally expected this and well the return of battle frontier(which never happened and got depressed over it) moving on, really the nostalgia of secret bases were always the fun part. After training your pokemons in pokemon league(ugh the grind levels) secret base were always to give me a sense of creativity of playing back when i was kid lots of toys enjoyed every little things.

I love the Super Secret Bases! I just wish they would increase the decoration limit by at least 5, or better yet by 10. The 25 limit is too little since 5 of those are taken by Secret Pals and if you have a larger base you might need to add the stairs or the boards. Then there's the sign for the battle rules which you need if you want to customize the battle rules, the level release, the gym statues and trick mats you'd like to use to make your base more like a gym and the jukebox to add the gym music, leaving only about 10 - 15 items for decoration, which is definitely not enough for the larger bases. If they increased the limit my base would look SO MUCH BETTER and I would be SO HAPPY.

Secret Bases have been around since the original Ruby and Sapphire, because I think I remember making my old Secret Base in my little sister's Emerald Version game somewhere around Mossdeep City. Now I prefer to have my Secret Base in Alpha Sapphire in Route 111 with the Secret Base tree you start off with.

Connect to the internet via the PSS, then open the buzznav app and click on the mailbox (the mailbox won't appear if you're in a super secret base). Now you have super secret bases in you world.

my personal favorite spot for bases is the area you access through the rusbro tunnel (cant remember spelling), its out of the way and it registers as being on the route so it confuses people. there are 2 spots there and at least one of them is a fair size, i think the other needs one of the board things.

*Funfax, the 3 starter example with blissey is slightly skewed, because once it passes the level of evolution (and hasn't evolved yet), it gets bonus exp (on top of any o power, exp share, pokemon amie, etc). Might not be the best example to use ;)
