My parents are divorced so when I first played MGS 3 I had to go to my mom's house for a while. I had to go right when I met The End. So when I came back home to my dad's house a week later I was so confused and accused my dad for playing it without me. It was great.

Harry indeed That had to be weird finding out about that Easter egg. I knew about one when The End dies. Think I saw it on XPlay a super long time ago. However, the one when Snake dies, I didn't know about that one until today.

Well the video didn't show a game over screen during that scene. The End never kills Snake during the boss fight only using tranq rounds. I think its reasonable to assume that Snake doesn't die therefor that entry is cheating :P

The End death easter eggs are always some of my favorite. I admit I'm not a huge MGS fan, but dang do I love some of the unique bosses that Kojima comes up with.

You can also kill the end before the battle even begins skipping it entirely by shooting him when he appears in an area previous to the battle.. I remember reading how this option upset some of the team because it took them three months to make the battle.

Not going to lie, I've seen almost all of these before, a dozen times over, on different lists, (I watch a lot of lists from various KZbinrs), but with one exception. Even though the death of The End is probably the one I've seen by far the most, I have never once seen mention of the Snake death scene during that same instance. Kind of odd that it doesn't get as much attention, now that I think about it......

The location, the specific enemies there, the sword being on the floor (which appears to have a blue-ish blade), and the skeleton is hanging from the ice is meant to mimic the scene at the beginning of Empire Strikes Back where his leg gets stuck and he's suspended upside down and drops his lightsaber.

Luke dies a lot in video game easter eggs, huh? He also can be found in Duke Nukem by jetpacking out of a pipe in a level that I forgot, finding a hole in the wall that's hard to spot and I think also runs your jetpack nearly out of power. Though Duke Nukem has at least 2 other "Secret Deaths" that I know of, and I thinka few I forgot, with both Lara Croft (Or Indiana Jones, maybe?) and Doomguy making appearances iirc.
