Considering most of them have thick accents, I'm guessing that English might not be their first language, so he probably tricked them into participating in the project (lying and saying they were going to be in a "movie" or something similar). The ones lying on the bed probably were paid to just lie there and look pretty, so possibly wannabe models that were lied to about what was going on (again, English being a second language for them would work in *his* favor of getting them to agree). For the women that very clearly looked unhappy to be there, he probably begged them to be in the game. Considering that the game encourages manipulation and deception, it's not unbelievable that he used those same tactics on the women in this game. He clearly only sees women as objects of status (surrounding himself with conventionally attractive women wearing expensive clothing, lying on his bed helps sell the image to other emotionally unstable, insecure men like him that he really is a "Super Seducer"/"Ladies Man"/"Lothario"), so he's not going to see what he's doing as being "wrong".

Fair point, I think it's mostly to bring up social scenarios so you have a better idea of how you COULD handle various situations, not necessarily a guide of what you SHOULD do Kind of like how you can learn how to better understand other people by reading books with good, well written characters, it sets a baseline that you can build off of At least that's what I think, you can also just say it's simple escapism and you'd probably be closer to the truth than me

Just as I defend the guy for creating it, I also defend anyone reviewing the game giving out their own opinion and criticizing the game if they feel the game is bad and cringe worthy.
