There is Super Singer for late teens and adults. Its been going on for about 10 seasons. There is one for children from 6 to 15 years of age called Super Singer Junior. Its been going for about 9 seasons. There were a few spin offs too. The show is highly competitive. Many of the singers have gone on to become very good playback singers. The legendary SPB has been a judge and guest judge too. And the name Vijay TV is because it was initially owned by now fugitive and former businessman Vijay Mallya.

You can easily identify the odd one (one song) which is not belong to Maestro Ilayaraja tune. That was from AR Rehman. The first song is the first song of Chitra - Poojaiketha poovithu from Nee thaanaa antha kuyil. The chorus group did well. They sang same song in different scale at the same time. Some song had rythm from their voice itself. I recommend Chitra sang with Ilayaraja for the song oru jeevan azaithathu from geetanjali.

Muze to ye dono zuthi reaction dete hai aaisehi lag raha hai, I know Chitraji is best singer, I like her all hindi songs, par jab ye dusre language ka song suna to kuch khas nahi laga, muze pata hai ki ye songs best hi honge jisbhi language ho, lekin muze o language nahi aati to muze kuch khas nahi lage, aaise hi ye do log bhi feku reaction dete hai aaisehi laga muze, sirf face ke kuch expression dete, aaur wow wow karte, inko kuch ghanta samz nahi aata, sirf views ke liye logoko fasate hai aaisahi laga muze to.
