At long last, the Pop Team Epic duo joins the battle in Smash Bros. Lawl Encore! This insane pair are quite well known for their equally insane antics in both the manga and anime. And with their unpredictable natures, otherworldly powers, and nonexistent plotline, Popuko and Pipimi are ready to fight with all of their strength together!

YOOOO, This was a blast to watch! I especially love how swapping between them is the main way to play them, which allows for some seriously diverse combos. This even gets carried to the specials, which also works in conjunction with swapping. Easily my favorite tag team done in a Lawl by far. You did amazing! Also thank yee so much for the Cameo~

Holy crap. I thought Encore couldn't get any better than Quote's set but this, this completely proved that my statement was wrong! Everything just looks so gorgeous from the frame-rate, stages, standards, HUDS, there's too many things that have improved to list here! 9 Months sure does wonders doesn't it? When you first revealed Pop Team Epic, I was clueless to who they actually were so out of curiosity I checked out their show and IT WAS GREAT. You made a fantastic representation of show and a fantastic (and one of my new favourite) tag-team! Their specials were perfectly chosen since they represent how random and goofy the show is, and the fact that they implemented into their "switching" move is just even better! Fantastic set and I'm incredibly excited for the first 1 ON 1 battle! Good luck on working on it Plums you got dis :D

In terms of the overall presentation, I think this is definitely the one that's been the most visually impressive so far, not just with the attention to details, but also with the little things like the animation after the disclaimer at the beginning of the video where Popuko shows up shortly after the disclaimer is shown! The Pop Team Epic duo is probably the most unique, and si far best, tag team fighters in all of Lawl, as while they switch out by using a Down B, their playstyle relies on constantly switching one out for the other for the best results and combos. Popuko had some pretty neat moves, particularly the Side B, where it can act as both a horizontal boost and a short recovery attack with the extra addition of the ski jump (it's also a great way to combine the major parts of the clip shown, starting with Populo playing a xylophone for a ridiculously long length before jumping of a ski ramp). I also found the Up B pretty funny with the way the joke of Popuko spawning clones as she dies from a manga speech bubble is used as a recovery and potential spike trap. For Pipimi, I like the Neutral B's results depend in how it is used, if the ball is just kicked, it hits an opponent, but Pipimi can shoot an extra projectile whenever it is out, so that way players don't immediately try to kick it out of bounds. Plus spawning a clone of Popuko as a defensive measure and projectile is a neat idea, as is Pipimi turning into a small jet for her Up B. The FS was simple yet sweet, with the two combining energy and delivering a powerful blow similar to that of action anime shows. Even though I've only checked out a small amount of Pop Team Epic, this video definitely makes me want to check out more of the show.

Just from seeing these two in action and telling us what they can do, this is easily a FANTASTIC tag team that truly can't function without the other. The moveset itself is simple enough, but the ways you can apply these moves together alongside the other character makes this very flexible and very fun! A very smart choice on your end to make Down B lagless. Easily my favorite tag team moveset in Lawl by far! Great job!

Now this is epic. Okay now for the real comment, this is an anime I haven't watched aside from a few random sketches but I feel you have referenced the most well-known ones rather well! For instance I remember seeing the Xylophone and Hammer ones so many times in the past. The moveset itself is a good example of simple but very well designed, with a lot of the options being described with the situations they can be used on rather well. I also love how quickly you can swap Popuko and Pipimi, or even the way the swap has differences if you use certain attacks like the Hammer or the Clones! I love how different the two feel, and I see myself using Popuko much more often thanks to her heavy-hitting attacks. This is definitely how a Tag Team must be handled, encouraging the players to use both characters but without forcing any kind of gimmick (like Pokemon Trainer's Stamina and Elemental Triangle in Brawl). The animation was also incredibly fluid and well made, which makes me want to watch the anime as I love simple styles coming to life through great animation!

A lot of skits I believe. If and only IF Pop Team Epic kept going after Season 1, BKUB would be forced to make even more (which I dont mind) but would be one hell of a work load. We can only pray that they'll figure something out for Season 2

Ok so basically combine all the good comments. That's me. Honestly this is your best work yet! Have a tag team that for once is meant to use both fighters during one match is something I have tried to do in the past (to no success at all) and you pulled it off excellently!! I could see myself switching to both of them all the time and it makes it feel like a real game. Now into the moves themselves....THEY'RE AMAZING!!! Popuko's hammer an hammer store and make for great kills which is my kind of thing (with me being a pretty good byleth player),the side b while simple at first and also lead to good combos like side b,neutral b, up b spike and the ski part makes it a good vertical recovery,the up b was very well done having it spike and works as a good "get off me" tool. As for pipimi well the neutral b seems a bit useless at first once to know about the blast it's pretty good tool!,the clone is a great idea and another combo I can see is side b,down b,popuko's neutral b.,the up b is also a simple one but t I love it, and the final sma- HOLLY CRAP JOSEPH JOESTAR!?!?? YEEEEEEEESSSSS!!!! Ok back to the moveset. The final smash was very neat as well! This is not just your best work but also an evolution to lawl as a whole. As someone who hasn't even watched their source that is crazy to say! Good luck on everything you have planed! I honestly wish demic made other also spinoffs games as this is one I would love to play it just for this character alone.

I have a neat idea: changing characters during Pipimi’s Satellite Cannon (while the ball is out) will have Popuko use Aura Cannon. It’s the same as SC, but does more damage and knockback at the cost of some speed. Also, Popuko can’t move until the energy ball is off screen.

That would have arrived here about a week ago if it was one. No today, we’ll be looking at a recipe for one of my favorite dishes. The King’s patented Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich, mmm hmm hmm. Okay so first of all you’re gonna need some ingredients. A bottle of cooking spray, 2 tablespoons (or as I prefer, a whooooole lotta) of peanut butter, 2 slices of bread, could be any kind, your favorite kind so long as it’s fairly solid, and one whole sliced banana. Right so now that all of your ingredients are together, we can start- oh, forgot one thing! Give me a second *goes into the back, a lot of clattering and clanging can be heard* Ah here it is! The one item that’ll really make this a dish worth remembering. A little bit *holds up can of pepper spray* of mixed spice *spriiiiitzes the screen* *cleans the screen up* Sorry for that, hope you’re not upset. Okay so today, we’re going to be cooking up one comment à la mode for *checks the recipe sheet* Popuko & Pipimi’s moveset! Let’s get baking! *crashes through the wall, is now skiing down a mountain slope* Right, so for an amazing, perfectly off the wall, and wonderfully creative moveset, you’ll need a few things! First off, you’ll need one of the greatest, if not most marvelous Tag Team mechanics in Lawl! *smacks right through a tree, now has an angel and devils food cake* Unlike other notable tag teams in the past who can arguably stand alone *tosses those cakes at a choppily sentence mixed pair of gamers* What's so special about Popuko & Pipimi is that they’re meant to work together. I absolutely adore that they make up for each other's strengths and weaknesses! It’s also so rad you can also play to your strengths with the showcase of their potential combos and strings, and I really hope we can see more of these two working together to kick ass in future videos. *somehow crashes back into the exact same room as before. Pulls out a white cake with purple and yellow trim* Something else I really wanted to show appreciation for in this lovingly, carefully made moveset. *takes out a buncha different spices, condiments, and household repair items* Are all of the small things that really make this video all the more fun and festive. Such as Phineas & Ferb, Kyoko, & Elphaba’s nicely fluent idles *adds some sprinkles to the cake* Very, very well cropped animations such as Big Shaq’s run and Nico’s N-Air *tops the cake with pepper n’ garnish* and while you may have seen a ledge grab before, you’ve never seen anything as funny as Phil’s! *slices the cake up with a machete, sticking something in between as I repair the cake with Flex Glue* Lastly, there’s that reveal. Hoo man was seeing Joseph in Encore so gratifying. Thank you so much for picking him up after he got dropped from L-NEO. Hope you and Jade have a lotta fun putting his set together. Now to top this off *places a Joseph figure onto the cake, pulling the string on his back* “The next thing you’re going to say will be a cheap pun!” Oh and of course we can’t forget Popuko and Pipimi themselves. All of their moves, taunts, and victories are all so fantastically edited. You could say they really pop! *lights the fuse* Wait… Nani?! *the dynamite placed in the cake explodes, sending everything into orbit* *Is in space now, the cake and Joseph figure floating into the cosmos* and this folks, is how we create the ultimate delicacy *pulls out a brilliantly lavish dish* So many ingredients that flow perfectly together, given all the time needed to create a product of true passion. Those 9 months were more than worth the wait, for a product that truly, faithfully represents it’s material, and is just such a joy to watch. Best of luck on the path you’ve set for yourself, buddy. I can more than wait for your next meal… wait, this was for a moveset video???

I love this moveset. You've truly captured the synergy of the Pop Team Epic duo, and I personally really like how you've outlined both Popuko and Pipimi's strengths, weaknesses and game plan. It reminds me of Sweet Bro & Hella Jeff, another good Lawl duo moveset. Plus, the editing was smoother than Krisp Peanut Butter, it was a pleasure to watch (the losing screen, where they're just flipping the winner off cracked me up, too).
