@JDoran24 It's the L and R buttons, if I recall, and I'm not sure if everyone playing had to hold them or just the first player or any player or what, but yeah, you could just choose the alternate song for any stage whenever you wanted if you pressed the right buttons.

......... dude, this is the Fire Emblem song Together We Ride. It's been in every single Fire Emblem game. When a new person joins you in a batlle during the dialoug it plays this, in Brawl it did change it up a little. Its actually the Fire Emblem theme mixed in With Together We Ride.

What melee did was the had clones two of the same characters with slightly altered move the one of the top of my head are mario and dr. mario and luigi(to a extent) link and young link captain falcon and ganondorf pikachu and pichu Finally and roy(making first appearance outside japan) Basically brawl kicked out most of the clones with the exception of the dorf and the new toon link

@DarkUchiha95 (Reply towards 5978888 and your comment) it doesn't specify to a specific character, mostly because in those games (FE1, FE7, and FE11), its actually the recruitment theme and not the actual theme of the game. This idea of it being the "theme" to Fire Emblem is heavily mistaken, as it only used in 3 games and never in the Tellius series. Although, I do love this song, I'm just giving you a little heads up :D

No but there is a way that you can get it to play every time your in high rule. If you hold R L and select the stage then you'll get this music. (If that doesn't work try a combo of something like that and start)

you to comment on your argument of Roy v.s Marth I hate to say it but Roy wins. Though he has the same move set as Marth's (besides spamming A) Roy wins cause of his control over the fire element. Also I would have to agree the Ike does suck (hate saying that) though a skill Ike player can supply his power as well as good timing to beat Marth or par-say if Nintendo didn't use Roy as a promotional thing in Melee and kept him in brawl Roy would most likely be the best fire emblem character there.
