Personally I prefer a combination between all the good bits of Subspace, Smash Run and Adventure mode... Subspace kind of repetitively dragged on after awhile, though I do think the mode would've been 10x better if it weren't in Brawl's engine. If it's any comfort, Master Hand is basically out of action in this trailer. There's no way they're not going to include the good ol' glove, so it's highly likely we'll get at least something of similar nature.

It would be! Honestly a character from Castlevania should have been in the game since Melee, if that at least since Brawl. Some dude predicted that Ridley and Mountain Climbers would be back in the game 3 weeks before the E3 trailer. This same dude also said that Simon will be in this game. I think it's safe to say that he isn't lying. I have strong hopes that I can finally play as a character with a whip, while listening to Vampire Killer!

With the inclusion of Echo Fighters, they can now spare themselves the release of new fighters in the future and instead release new Echo Fighters, because at the end of the day, what players want is to battle as their favourite characters, so having that not only draws in more players, both new and old customers, but also lifts a heavy weight on developers when designing and programming newcomers. Specifically, I was thinking about how we still don't have Shadow the Hedgehog in Super Smash Bros., despite him being a super popular and requested character in the Sonic franchise. Sonic is the only character of his franchise, despite rivalling Mario's roster of characters. However, now with the upcoming trilogies for Switch, they could potentially release in the future Crash Bandicoot and Spyro as newcoming Fighters (non-Echo). Oh! And Eevee due to the release of the upcoming Pokémon Let's Go! Games.

Also, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this new air dodge doesn't wavedash. No surprise, considering this one is affected by gravity. Still, this boost in momentum to air dodges and the risk from dodging too frequently add new facets to the strategic play, I think. Someone could easily use this knowledge to pressure a would-be evasive foe.

By the way, Mario DOES have F.L.U.D.D., and the Mario Finale FS (in his character video on the main site). Also, Ice Climbers won't be able to chain-grab this time. It seems the partner Climber can't grab, and will just cheer during the leader's grab, pummel, and throw. S/He also stops and panics whenever the leader is grabbed.
