Thanks! At low percents you can buffer full jump->double jump->nair, otherwise at higher percents you'll need to dash and double jump as quickly as possible into nair to catch DI.

@@Muramishi hmmmm i still cant do it for some reason i tried setting CPU at 10% then up throw to buffer jump ( just learned bout this which i assume you need to hold full jump at Upthrow last few frames) still it wasnt fast enough to count as true combo :

@@drakniratom9814 It does sound like you just need to be faster. You might wanna practice on 1/4 to see if you can get all the visual clues first before incorporating the muscle memory. That would make it a bit easier to understand which frames you're able to act on. Also worth noting since you're relatively new, the FAir after the NAir can only be performed in winged mode when Sephiroth has a third jump.

Haven't tried it but it certainly seems possible with at least two. The hitstun for 1 would make timing super tight, but 2 should be consistent enough.

I havent bought sephi yet (i will) and is his Nair a similar hit box to mewtwos Nair (except it only hits once)? It looks like it from vids but not completely sure

Not sure if I'd compare it to Mewtwo's, cause Sephiroth doesn't have a lingering hit box. But it is does cover a 360 radius and possess enough hitstun to combo off of.

How do you grab after his bomb blast, I get stuck in the animation.

You can act sooner than you think most likely, but there's also a bit of spacing to consider. Sephiroth feels a bit stiff in the animation but he's actually faster than he seems after that blast goes off.

Just got him from the challenge and omg is it bad that I wanna hate him cause it’s not someone I know to make it in but at the same time he’s officially becoming my favorite 2nd dlc pack?🤣😤 cause omg I actually underestimated him when I first try him out!🤣😤🤣😤

We've got more Sephiroth content planned, as he's high ranking on our list of favored characters. Now that Smash has defied all expectation and released him, my interest in revisiting the game is at an all time high. That plus some IDJ stuff I've been meaning to lab out are on the list of things to do. But yeah, the wing appears when he's "in a pinch". Seems like 90% if he's even with his opponent, 50-60% range if he's trailing, and as low as 30~% if he needs to make a comeback. Winged Scintilla is absolutely brutal if Sephiroth manages to counter properly, haha.

Dude WTF is the timing for forward smash after gigaflare. I was even in training advancing frame by frame and it was inconsistent. Like in one winged it’s gaurantee hit, but without it never happens even on the first frame you can begin f smash. Edit: I’m an idiot. Distance kinda matters. If ur trying in training and keep resetting, stand back literally one step and it’ll connect. So dumb
