With the exception of Bowser Jr. (I always use Larry) and Bayonetta (I always use her Scarborough Fair outfits), I prefer to use the default color variations, except in All-Star mode, Smash Run, Multi-Man Smash, and Events where I encounter the same character. In these aforementioned modes, I use mostly alternate blue or cyan color schemes. For Marth, I use his black color scheme in these modes. For Wii Fit Trainer, I use the green color scheme in these modes. For Bayonetta, I use her alternate black-and-red outfit in modes that I would normally use the default color scheme, and her alternate blue outfit in modes where I normally use an alternate color scheme. I use mostly blue outfits when playing online.
