My little brother once made a "Smash-Championship" where he had all characters, (with himself playing as Link), compete in typical League-style and continued it all the way to the finals - he won everything, and he still has a very serious-looking piece of paper lying around, with gold cup decorations and stuff. That rocked.

Whoa, that was some serious ownage. A defininate one-sided battle. And yet we love those kind of battles.;) Anyway, Bravo Isai, and boo for jigglypuff. She does have a hidden skill, but it is hard to do if it isn't done right. On a personal note, I wish I had an opponet like u Isai, it would make SSB64 a whole lot fun for me.

@coolguy681 the initial purpose of any game is for fun and one way that can be measured is by replay value. and yes in games like street fighter and the others, i named, every character has a chance because all the characters are constructed in the exact same way. All of the ssb characters have a chance depending on your skill level. This game is more original than any of the street fighters, it requires more skill than memorizing a string of buttons to do a combo.

BEST GAME EVER. Its fun from the first time u play it, all the way till you're the best player in the world. Its from the 90s and people still play it competitively and still start out playing it, its fun in a group or just solo. By far the best game ever created....too bad they had to go and make Brawl.

Jigglypuff and Kirby tend to be knocked out easily (maybe their character's physics?). Also the Pika guy did many grabs/throws... very unsportsmanlike.

@XxCrAzYAzNxX4 The Pika guy also did many attempts to grab jiggly and was successful in many of them, so of course the jiggly dude had to try it too, but failed in his attempts. I'm not saying the pika guy is bad, he's obviously good (actually I didn't know who Isai was until a few mins ago), but I personally find the grabs as a cheap tactic that newbs rely at the game. just my .2 cents.

@miv3c how are grabs unsportsmanlike? they're a part of the game, if they weren't meant to be used, they wouldn't have been made. And both characters tried grabs, Pika guy was just successful. But then, I suppose that's an opinion.

@coolguy681 i NEVER said it wasnt about combos...i said its not about button string combos like street fighter. ( A+B+K+A+K+D...) where u just memorize the string of buttons. SSB is more like a real fight where movement timing spacing and positioning all come into play when fighting. There arent any pre cut combos and u can play the game however style fits you. SSB 64 is a better quality game than street fighter, its more fun and has a better replay value. Just accept it.

@coolguy681 dude, i already said those games (arcade style combat games) are some of my favorites ever. I just find the combo memorization to be monotonous. yes ssb 64 has flaws but it laid the foundation for melee. I find it more fun and entertaining at an introductory level and even an advanced level, than most arcade style fighting games. And originality does contribute to a game being good. Reusing the same engine 50 times can get to be pretty boring.

This match is broken. Pikachu on his own is one of the most powerful characters. Coupled with his decent speed, Jigglypuff doesnt come close. Jigglypuff has generally floaty control, short range moves, and she is a lightweight character which, as a result, doesnt give him enough coverage to stand up to some of the higher tier characters. Im not saying Isai isnt good at smash bros, im just not sure how good because the match is unbalanced to begin with.

This was frustrating to watch, the jiggly puff player only ever landed one attack, never got any chains off, and was clearly not in the same league as the Pikachu player, character imbalances aside.

jigglypuff has one of the strongest attacks and best combos out of all the characters?she is pretty much exactly the same as kirby, who is one of the best characters and easiest to understand.jigglypuff is for people who like the syle of play that kirby has but who want a more powerful version.the match is "unbalanced" bcuz pikachu is on some bullshit and is ledge guarding hard.i know people who are amazing with jgglypuff and im not bad with her either.shes not weak at all..far from it

@theproperwhy part of skill is execution, which are combos. In super smash bros all isai does is combos. In Street Fighter there is something called zoning, footsies, and reversals which dont require combos. These aspects require reactions, skill and knowledge about the game. Dont try to make an argument when you clearly dont know what you are talking about. Oh and originality thats not true because ssb originated after Street Fighter, Tekken, Virtua Fighter and Soul Calibur. So again not true.
