I've got one of these bikes. Thanks for showing inside the battery, it was very interesting! 😊

My charge socket has gone bad, was wanting to see where the positive cable went underneath the heatsink. Can you remember if it was easy enough to get to ?

Yes this looks like a bit too hard to DIY replace a pack or two at home. Thank You for sharing this attempt 👍

Yeah exactly, no idea how you’d actually replace a pack let alone find a new one :/ Much appreciate the comment mate!

Could you make a disassembly video of the xros nano. It would help a lot mine damaged the contact pin and I don't think it helps for disassembly.

Did you get to see what the packs are made of? Not 18650's?

I really need your help! I have this bike, I have the battery on my table right now apart & you seem like you know about this a bit more.

The line current that the bms allows is 80amps & 280 phase amps. I have a new controller the is a 190amp & a 360 phase amps, I was wondering, can we put in a bms that allows for more current?

E possível usar o carregador dela pra outro modelo de bms?

Can you do a disassembly and build quality analysis of the Geekvape T200 Aegis Touch
@vmgtesting8014 Жыл бұрын
It’s probably unlikely tbh mate unless Geekvape or someone else sends me one. Cheers for the suggestion though, I’ll put it on my list of mods to look out for anyhow!

Yeah that'd be a hell of alot of tear down to find the "bad cell" and then spot welding back together. Definitely be worth it if you were gonna diy a battery bank...

Does the pack appear to have any seals for a form of water resistance or IP rating on the label?
@vmgtesting801411 ай бұрын
So sorry for the super late reply, half the time I don’t get notifications from KZbin and have to go back thru the vids to check. From memory they make an attempt at some water resistance - big single o-ring around the top and bottom plates and liquid sealant around the socket. Not amazing though, it’s not going to stop water getting in if bike got flooded but should be good enough in normal use I think. No IP rating that I could see. Cheers!

Just took mine apart, there are rubber seals around the bottom, nothing at the top so it would fill up with water if water was very deep. There is also a water detector patch so they won't warranty a water damaged pack.

this is why i say to people buy 2x bigger battery then you actualy need and never discharge lower then 20 %...

Are you an electrical engineer or something? How'd you learn about this stuff? I know a little bit as I used to install stereo equipment in cars. That's where I 1st learned about ohms law. I'd really like to learn more about electric components and electronics themselves.
@vmgtesting8014 Жыл бұрын
Ah yes mate, I have a degree in microelectronics engineering. I used to do some car audio too! I haven’t mentioned it on the vids for a few reasons tbh. I kinda don’t want to make it sound like I know everything as I’m definitely always still learning and getting things wrong, and also while some subjects I studied covered PCB design and construction I’ve never actually worked in that field. Anyhow, let me know if there’s something in particular you’d like to know a bit more about and I reckon I should be able to cover it in one of the vids. Cheers for the comments as always!
