What is the number stuck onto? Is it a straw? And do you need to use that stiffening stuff or just fondant on its own?

Thank you 😊, the ring must atleast 1/2 cm thickness and must be hard (fondant with tylose powder ) when it’s hard cut the bottom part of the ring to stand when you’ll attach it on the top of the cake, I use water only to stick it or you can use something else
