06 was my childhood game. Remember watching this when it came out without any understanding of what a mod was. Legit thought this was a special version of 06 that I could buy. I was disappointed when I could never find a copy of a game called "Super Sonic the Hedgehog." Might go ahead and get this mod working to fulfill my 6 year old self's wishes.

i can actually explain why the faces appear that way in the cutscenes. their faces are actually separate models from their bodies. the body uses only one model for the whole game, but they have 2 face models: one for gameplay and one for cutscenes. the mod here will change their gameplay faces, but not their cutscene faces as you can see. i hope this clears up any confusion.

I like how their idle stances reflect their characters. Sonic has the traditional pose: confident and determined, ready to take the threat head on. Silver looks a bit more amped up. This is his first taste with his super form, and he’s embracing it. Shadow looks more reserved and focused, showing he has more control over his power.

They should remake and remaster the game. This was one of my favorite sonic games. To please those who liked the game and to please those who hated due to alleged bad glitches and storyline and such, they should remake it and improve.....BUT don't change too much. It was an entertainingly fun game...I barely ran into glitches. Plus i felt accomplished to beat it. Bad games, in my opinion, are those with bad or boring gameplay, extremely easy, no storyline, terrible music, and little replayability; things this game did not have which is why I liked it.

Exactly. Silver's psychic abilities were fun too (stopping bullets and rockets, shooting Iblis' final meteor rock right back at him, etc). Eggman's many "badniks" looked SO badass, and much more intimidating, not to mention the variety of them. The designers really outdid themselves. Later games had those stupid Egg pawn soldiers from Shadow the Hedghog, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Colors, and Unleashed. Mephiles' boss fights were awesome, and Egg Wyvern harked back to Egg Viper in some ways.

This is legit my favorite Sonic game. I know it has it's "flaws", but doesn't everyone? You ignore all the flaws and focus on the perception of its well thought out story. Think of the glitches as something fun you could do. At the docks, I love going on a metal box as Sonic and kicking on top of it, making me fly up in the air, till the point of pure darkness, and back down.
