I have the v2. Did the hot racing 17 mm adapter hex with 10 mm extensions and badland 28s. Also added a 20 kg high torque servo. All in all, i wish i had waited. The v3 is a better option from a dollar standpoint. Nice vid Jay Tee.

@RC Daniel Not usually, it's more common they will have a small charge and it should be balanced pretty close. I have not got 1 from Amazon to say 100%. I think they can't ship them fully charged, or they are not supposed to, or that's what my local post office said about ebay.

@RC Daniel All new lipos come at storage charge, about 3.8 to 3.85 volts per cell. No lipos come fully charged as this will damage them sitting at long periods of time and can make them puff!

@@paulclancy2404So Jason Dearden has misled me then. He said that if you have my version MEGA all you would need to go brushless is the new MEGA version transmission. So you are saying we would still have to get the 3s slipper? I sure thought we would have it easier this time. Buying a completely different slipper clutch assembly is not cheap and makes no sense to be setup like that. He definitely said that in an interview with Trueboyz RC and Driftomaniacs. Why did they not correct that. I did know it was still 48p but that part is acceptable to run 2s brushless at first. I'm now reconsidering even wanting anything ARRMA if they can't get something this simple corrected after saying they had corrected it. Then again, maybe I just completely misunderstood Jason. Maybe he was talking about version 4 or 5 or 6. Maybe then they will have it correct. Or maybe it's just that I'm still a newb and so is ARRMA! I'm sorry for ranting, but what is ARRMA doing with this line. Save your $$ if you already have BRCC! This release is great, but that means the MEGA line-BALL WAS DROPPED!

Love this truck was going to get it but impatient so I got the Kaiju I'm in love it's a beast and probably shouldn't but right now there's a 14 tooth pinion in it it's insane could I find a nice 12 tooth but it's got to be really wide once I find that that's going in.Do you know who makes a really wide pinion in mod 1?

I have 2 big rocks! that’s how much I love this truck. I only had one kinda damage, the front bumper pushed in a little. Landing on the right front bumper on concrete from about 30+ feet in the air. I found the granite bumper to be the strongest so slapped that on it. If anyone has a typhon and there bending shock shafts, put a senton front bumper on it, no shocks or a arm issues anymore. My daughter love hitting trees lol

Awesome run. That is REALLY fast on 2S. Wow. Typically it's 30mph on stock gearing for most trucks. Going up to 3S might be a bit hard to handle. 52mph is fast for a lightweight truck like that. Perfect 2S truck, though, pretty much the perfect truck from Arrma!

Jay if you don't want wheelys then, take the spacer from the shock to let the shocks adsorbs the power by compression, I do it with my Granite BLX and help a lot

The only two times I drove my big rock on full speed 🎸 on a 3s lipo 5000mah 100c spectrum smart battery. Flipped it twice and the back right wheel came straight off

Just suggesting when doing speed runs add little bit tension in rear and / or lower front help with the tires from swelling . bought my kids last years model and added Typhon arms to widen it they do well think daddy needs the new one

I do them straight stock out the box with any adjustments so that people know how fast the car goes and how it performs at that speed as well.

Hey, new subscriber here. I seen you had videos of the redcat landslide and was about to pull the plug and buy one. Until this came out. I know the landslide is 1/8 scale and this is 1/10. Which do you prefer since you have had both. I know it all depends on preference but just curious what yours is. Ill be mostly trail riding and light bashing. Honestly was just going for the landslide because I don't own a 1/8 scale rc. But this Armma looks like a pretty large 1/10.

Try this method of belting the tire: You will need gorilla tape or trex tape And a hair dryer or heat gun to remove the tires Then put the tires inside out and tape them

I Really love my Big Rock 3s V3 converted to 4s Slipper clutch and Aluminum And metal Spur And Skock tower.And Aluminium drive shaft and used the Senton Upgraded parts like the slipper and the Aluminum Casing to the slipper clutch.And some GPM 12mm Hex adapter.Soo can use lot's of different types of tires on it.Woww now issues with the original spur slipper clutch plastic.Im using mine Offroad and jumps.Looking for some Aluminium on the original shocks.The plastic is working but when jumping hard,and slle the weight on the Skocks when you landing the Car.Soo trying to find something good that can use.Any Ideas for me and My Arma Big Rock V3 3-4S.And want new tires to.Please help me link to were i can find them and get them.I want new Shock but expensiv for 4 new Aluminium shock for the Big Rock 3s Maybe the New Vortex.Really good tires on that one.Thsnks gor sharing this 🙏 Keep bashing And Smiling 😁 On the Miles.😊

No they are not. Look them up and do a little research you'll see that the ic5 is different than the ec5. They can both use ec5 connectors on the battery types but the icy ic5 is different...
