Try some Wooster grip. Wooster used to be some of the most aggressive grip I've skated for a normal skateboard. I haven't skated it in probably 6-7 years so hopefully they haven't changed it. It's made about 40 miles from where I live so most shops in the area used to carry it.

vicious griptape was designed for high speed drifting, when you throw a downhill board sideways at 50mph you want your feet to stay on the board. keep in mind longboarding is still skateboarding just like a long surfboard is still a surfboard and still surfing. also most people who ride downhill also ride park, bowl and street.
