@MrSneakmind My thoughts exactly. Latif cracked under pressure. Fuudo is phenomenal though. I still consider Latif one of the best players in the world, especially after defeating juggernauts like Tokido, Daigo, and Poongko in the top 8 showdown.

Is the arcade stick really easier to use? I main C.Viper but I can't seem to do her moves that well I use a ps3 control because It looks easier than playing on an arcade stick. O.O Do I need an arcade stick?

barely anybody that has commented on here even understands Super Street Fighter IV AE and aren't capable of playing at a competitive level. Latif proved himself by beating Daigo and Poongko. His burning kick mix-ups and seismo mind-games are fantastic. Fuudo, now this guy is boss. You know somebody is the real deal when they dominate the Virtua Fighter scene.

can someone explain to me what happened at 5:28? im dont know too much about ssf 4, but it looked like the american guys read through the other guy's movements and did a very good move however, i dont understand how come latif didnt get hit by fuudo's super move :S

@XTBRfilms Why would melee be a better choice?Because it doesn't have smash balls? Brawl has more characters,stages,items,etc.All you would have to do is edit the items list for tournaments.

Not sure if you still care but Fei Long's Ultra 2 is a counter move, he was expecting a attack in the air which would have been countered but Latif just jumped without attacking. So no Ultra. :L

@HectOriOus1000 He's using the move in the correct situations. He isn't just repeatedly inputting the burning kick over and over and over again without putting some thought into it. His gameplan didn't work this time, but it isn't spamming either. If he was repeatedly doing the burning kick without thinking about it and trying to lead into situation where he can start up his offense it would be spam.

@MrSneakmind Obviously your the one that doesn't know fighting games. Everyone knew after Fuudo's first match in evo that he was going to be the champion. He knows how to play street fighter correctly. His fundamentals are outstanding, basics, and pure brains made him the champ. He didn't need flashy combos. Latiff was depending on mixups the whole time.

@MrDjdecks None of what you see in this video is 'spam'. Latif uses a lot of burning kick mix-ups and EX seismos to start his offence. That's called strategy, not spam. Now, standing in the corner and spamming L.Disruptah and beam assists (Dr. Doom/Ammy/MODOK) with Magneto IS spam (Marvel vs. Capcom 3)

@NekoEvangline I know it's just the ignorance of the casual player or someone who has never played the game before, but it's pretty annoying. He DID overuse the burning kick, but in no way did he 'spam'. He just couldn't change his gameplan and had no answer for what Fuudo was doing.

Seeing someone take the championship with Fei Long was awesome, but I don't think using his counter Ultra against Viper was wise. She doesn't really have any moves that you can use to turn it against her. But what do I know, I wasn't at EVO...

@5TAILEDNARUTO i didnt see the previous comment but melee is the most technical smash game. it is much faster paced and more technical skills than brawl. brawl is about half speed and loses the finer technicality of melee

Fuudo was just a better Fei Long than Latif was C. Viper. For all we know if Latif picked someone else he could of won. Then again it was the finals, so idk if that was his best character choice lol
