For best results wet wall and cups apply pressure when pushing tabs down.

I thought you’d have to dampen contacts. You could move it anytime by just flipping up tabs right?
@hollywoodfrodo Жыл бұрын
You have to flip up the tabs and possibly use a credit card to separate the suction cups from the wall (it's like a sticky material which is part of what helps it hold so well). I don't think you'd want to move it a lot, but if you had it in one place and decide a month later that wasn't the best place, it'd be no problem to move it to another location.

How has it been holding up ? Any issues with it sliding off or u having to reinstall it?
@hollywoodfrodo2 жыл бұрын
Still holding strong. Hasn't moved since the day I installed it. Makes getting in and out of the shower stepping over our high tub wall much safer!

I was curious and thinking about doing that, has it lasted?? Or any mishaps with it falling off?

Can this be used on fiberglass shower walls?
@hollywoodfrodo2 жыл бұрын
It should - it's made to stick to all smooth non-porous surfaces.

This is the most dangerous item you can buy, and a false sense of security. I purchased this for my mother about 3 years. I tried everything to make it work, It would not stick to surface I even tried glue. My mother is 92 years old and very frail. It's a good think I was home at the time. She fell in the bathtub and was hurt very bad. All because of these dame suction plastic rails, not holding up the way it's described. She was in the hospital for 4 days, and now there is a big lawsuit on going. Please do not rely on this product. Reply

MIne keeps falling off. Surface clean and dry. Any suggestions?
@hollywoodfrodo Жыл бұрын
I don't know. It must be a smooth flat non-porous surface. Otherwise, it should stick very strongly. After about 6 months one end of mine did come loose - I simply removed it, rinsed off both sides very well with water to make sure they were clean, let them air dry, then re-attached it, and it's still going strong a year later...

@@hollywoodfrodo Thanks for the reply. The surface is a fiberglass shower wall which is super smooth and sturdy and the surface was/is clean and dry. I attached it again about 2 hours ago and while writing this, I heard it fall off again. I must be doing something wrong as it stayed on for three months after I first installed it. The cups are still sticky and the suction was strong awhile ago when I remounted it. I ever gave it a tug and it didn't budge. Could this be a defective unit?

@@paterpull I don't know for sure, but perhaps? Maybe reach out to the company about it - hopefully they can send you a replacement...

@@hollywoodfrodo I go a reply and instructions from the Taili company but don't understand part of the reply that says: "Remove the suction cup by hard card". Any idea what they mean? Thanks for any advice.
@hollywoodfrodo Жыл бұрын
@@paterpull That's if the suction cup is still attached to the wall and you need to remove it. You use a plastic card (like a credit card or similar) to slide between the cup and the wall to remove it.

Also can u remove it as needed

Yes, it is removable and movable.

Thanks for sharing - that is important for people to know. I do still have and use mine. But I use it as an aid because it's better than having nothing to help when stepping in and out of my shower with the tall tub walls. For someone older who is high risk of falling and needs to constantly be putting all their wait on it, yeah, I would want to install permanent hardware for something like that. I am glad your mom is okay and thanks again for sharing this experience!

@@hollywoodfrodo I would argue having nothing is better than relying on a device that might fail without warning.

@@xbubbleheadIf you’re using it as an aid it’s fine. Still using mine after all this time and love it. Yes, at some point it came loose but using it as an aid it was no big deal - just clean it, let dry, re-apply and good as new. But it’s not a replacement for an installed bar for someone who requires using it lift up or something.

Such a bad idea. Suction cup grab bars fail... You will not know when it will fail but it will. We all have had suction cups on some items and after a few years, they fail why do you think this item will be any different?
@IMOO18962 жыл бұрын
This doesn’t work with tile look fiberglass . It requires absolute flat surface.
@hollywoodfrodo2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it does have to be a smooth flat surface for them to work correctly.
