How come Ford hasn't called you to work for them?? This mustang you have created is so freaking badass. My jaw dropped when I found out it was a 2012 Shelby! Everyone is hating on the fender flares but fender flares are making a come back. Lately I've seen a lot of car projects and a lot of them are putting fender flares on them. And why not, it makes the car look more aggressive. Hands down your mustang is in my top 5 mustangs of all time! 👍👍👍👍Beautiful freaking work

@The Bushwacker There is absolutely a market for it, but theres very little of that car that would pass today's National Highway Safety laws and crash tests. this is why a lot of the great concept car designs get "nerfed" when they go to production. it is hard to get side curtain airbags and all of the electronics to fit in cars of old. the economy of scale and numbers starts to fall down if it takes the plant 25% longer to produce a car. They're lovely cars when attention is lavished like that, but you're talking $200k territory even if you could trim down the engineering hurdles and reinventing the old skin to have the same crash readiness.

Well.. i got to admit this is one of the coolest build retro-fit project car but what really boggles me (and i do think is oxymoron) specially on this car : why the hell would anyone keep the non functional fake rear exhaust pipes in rear diffuser since the Real shooting flames are re-routing on the sides pipes ?!! is an American thing to have many exhaust pipes even fake ?!! That is the only really stupid thing on this car, otherwise hat off to all : the builder, to the owner's wife and to the owner himself.. ;0)

I'm pretty sure this guy got Fords attention. I see a market for in the future from Ford remaking the old mustang with all new technology underneath the sheetmetal. Ford would be stupid not to. Can you imagine the Mustang sales for Ford if they did? If they can keep it priced for the average every day car guy and not get ridiculous with a 100k or more price tag, they wouldn't be able to make them fast enough. I know I'd be in line for one and I'm a truck guy.

Foose all ready did it on a 67 impala I believe it is but he swap it to a brand new 2002 Corvette plus he had to cut the body of the impala almost two feet to make it fit to the new Corvette and came out like a real impala should be from the very beginning of its production.

I’m not sure they can with sufficient safety requirements. It would basically have to be plastic with a custom crumple zone under it. They can’t just make a old mustang and sell it.

Sir, your car is hands down one of the most gorgeous things I ever seen. You should be working for Ford and making a 6 figure paycheck. I see one thing you didn’t have on the car and that is black rims. THANK YOU for not ruining the car with the black rims. I cannot understand why so many people and even the manufacturer’s are all going to black rims. They have been done to death and I see so many cars and trucks that are great looking vehicles except for having the same old boring look alike black wheels so again thank you.

I would have used the door lock cylinders from a late 90s F150 or ranger, ranger would be easier to get cuz they kept the same door locks till they quit making the ranger, and keyed the to the 2012 ignition key (same keyway) other than that beautiful car, I'm doing something similar to my '07 as far as throw back just not as in depth as full sheet metal swap
