@@TinyTrackCars Sweet, can’t wait to the bigger stands. I’m guessing a lot more people will be showing up as well huh? 🤪😉 man that’s some work but it’s looking great. I know y’all will get the corners figured out it’s all research and development. I was thinking also, are there grooves in the straights? Just seemed like they were sliding out after straight. Course we have grooves in our track and they still kick sideways at times. Either way. All for fun. You’re doing great. 👍
@TinyTrackCars2 ай бұрын
@@lrlthelordsracingleague777 yes there are grooves. I think the nature of plastic tires on a plastic track is… you are going to get slip and slides. Crash racers does a pretty good job at correcting the spin outs because it’s hard for the car to get fully sideways (because the width of the track. We are much wider than crash racers here and nothing stopping the cars (with no drivers) from spinning around and around. Maybe I’ll try something different for the straights once we get the ramps/turns figured out. I won’t rest until it’s running the best I can 😄

Patrick, _show up on time,_ and whatever else you do, do not upstage the boss. Just free advice there, buddy We'll get him sorted out eventually, Ned. Announcing help is hard to find in this market, but it's not *that* difficult 🤖😉 I don't want to make a ton of assumptions from up in the grandstands, I only feel that a regimen of wheel treatment that differs from that used for more widely encountered Crash Racers track could be a huge help in stabilising cars' travels down _The Big O._ My faith in the Spool Heads design remains unshaken. Folks are still figuring out the new Jaguar I-Pace and so too there are some mysteries to unravel here in blazing a faster straighter path to victory lane. To borrow from Yoda, _"You must unlearn what you have learned"_ because the more surfaces introduced to the game, the more it shakes up some preconceived notions and tactics. *Pure speculation* on my part. Once again, tons of faith in TTC & Spool Heads for their R&D visions and direction I'd fall off my stool trying to film this in real speed, so much respect for how you get this job done, Nick! Speaking of respect, mad props to both Rez Wheels and Numbskull for their respective achievements tonight and throughout the $TH Tournament!!

@@Chris_Hood thanks, Chris. If Patrick doesn’t get his stuff together we might have to bring Clyde back to replace him. Who knows, maybe give the dude with the popcorn a job 🤣
@TinyTrackCars2 ай бұрын
@@Chris_Hood and for the track….. Other than the ramps performing sub par currently causing roll overs, I think part of what causes the spin outs is the fact that the track is 1.5x wider than crash racers. With crash racers, cars hit the side before they are able to spin out and kinda correct themselves. We are getting a lot more passing that crash racers due to the extra width, but with that, we are also seeing spin outs. A good majority of thar spinning is caused when 2-3 cars tangle up (hard to believe there’s no drivers in these things lol). Maybe one combination we will try is a wider banked turn and then a merge down to crash racers width for the straight in attempts to keep the cars straight m(er). Rest assured I won’t stop making changes and tuning until this behemoth of a track performs the best it possibly can. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

@@TinyTrackCars some tracks just love to have certain cars on it, that holds across the hobby. _The Big O_ is a relatively new track, and the physical improvements done already have worked from what I can see. As folks continue to race they'll start figuring it out. Just happy that racers get far more opportunities here over a single year compared to racing at another venue only once in a proverbial blue moon
