I think the difference in power is similar to when the z fighters faught Napa on Earth. Even if cell rises his power in short intense burst it will only be enough to kill the so-called Cyberman but not enough to kill a Vegeta or a Napa . Bulma's trust in goku comes from the years of seeing him do stuff that would seem impossible. Remember this Bulma stepped into the crazy world WITH Goku. He saved her from that dinosaur that grabbed her day1. Since then countless times Goku has saved the day before vegeta even made an appearance. Thats why goku's presence alone can make people feel safe. They know if anything they are the safest when this person is around.

Relatively speaking the Androids are like raditz. A power level that you thought was high but it's also not really high. I've been collecting all the versions of DBZ in the U.S and comparing the video quality. Like a lot of older shows it's been hard to completely restore how it was originally meant to be seen unfortunately, but there are many versions to compare. The singles/dvd boxsets were the first release, they have ocean dub and then transition into the funimation dub (have original tonami audio without any updates) and the video is in 4;3 aspect ratio (how it was meant to be seen) but it has some artifacting due to the encoding process. It has film grain too but I prefer the grain as it keeps the little details compared to the modern DNR releases (which remove the grain but also remove many small details). The first few episodes of those singles are pretty bad with grain though because they were only given a multigeneration copy. Another issue with this set is it takes up a lot of space to collect them all and there are only 3-5 episodes per disc. Cool thing is there's some nice art on the boxes and is the only way to see the show as it was originally shown on TV in the U.S besides the VHS tapes. There was a remastered dvd edition that had updated audio (re-voiced the early episodes with the funimation cast), but it got cancelled early on before even getting to Namek. The reason it was cancelled is the 3 episode per video format was being phased out at that time for the more popular entire season sets, or full series releases. This is where we got the worst (imo) release the orange bricks, which while they look nice on the shelf, they had awful issues of DNR removing important detail in scenes like completely removing Goku's mouth during the Frieza fight, and the colors were extremely over saturated and unnatural. It was cropped so cut off people's faces and there were many examples of it not being centered correctly so it seems awkward and cuts off the artwork.. They sold like hotcakes though because it was the first time you could easily get the entire series for cheap. After that set we got the U.S dvd Dragon Box sets which are still held up today as the least cropped and best quality version visually of the show we have over here. My issue with them is they only have the japanese soundtrack and not the english one, and some of the colors aren't as accurate as they could be.. plus they're extremely expensive and out of print now. Then we got what was to be the holy grail for U.S dragon ball releases.. The Blu Ray level sets.. I am so disappointed that these got cancelled after 2 sets or 34 episodes. They were being manually remastered in house to be the best visual quality DB release possible over here and better than most overseas versions too. Blu-ray quality dragonball, with the faulconer and japanese soundtracks, it really was just about perfect. They failed because Funimation released them almost right after the orange bricks and dragon boxes. People were finding it hard to justify buying another dragon ball release so soon, so these beautiful sets were cancelled. Later down the road they decided to try another blu-ray release, this time not putting as much money into the remastering process and getting them out quickly like they did with the orange bricks. I believe this is the release you guys are watching. While it's definitely a step up from the orange bricks, it's still not by much unfortunately. It's also cropped and placed in 16;9 instead of the original 4;3, so faces and parts of the frame are cut off and everything seems slightly zoomed in. There are a few sets with this version on it (the amazon exclusive release, the new bluray walmart orange bricks, and possibly another im missing). Lastly, they just recently released the 30th anniversary version (black box and steelbooks) which is basically the same as the bluray release I just mentioned before this, but it is in 4;3 again. It is slightly more cropped than the dragon box and maybe the singles I think, but it does show more of the intended image now. It still has dnr issues as with every modern dbz release besides the level sets, but imo it's the best way to watch the entire series on Bluray in the U.S at the moment.. They added fake grain on the image to make us think it was like the old release, but most modern displays can remove that fake noise (I also can barely notice it most of the time).. This comment got longer than I expected lol.. but that's basically the entire U.S dbz home video history lol.. Thanks if you read this far. (Bonus: The selectavision release (spain?) looks amazing, probably the best visually but doesn't have english).

I think Cell using the Kameha Wave instead of the Galick Gun would of been better. It's more unstable and destructive. It's extremely dangerous to put huge amounts of power into the Kameha because it's usable and will blow up everything but because of that it damage an enemy more and go a bit of of its league as an attack

I gotta disagree with the vegeta showboating comment. This is really the first time vegeta played around with his opponents. If you remember on earth when he fought goku THE FIRST time goku bested him he tried to gallak gun earth and destroy it lol. On namek he wasted no time killing everyone he could. He killed the entire ginyu force, that purple guy, zarbon and tried to beat frieza asap. The androids you saw he blasted 19 to bits and only slowed down because he got too much power absorbed from the fight to kill 20.
