Great looking figure. The shoulder pads could have been easily managed if they used the method Hasbro is using nowadays - a shoulder pad / armor on a ring which is sandwiched between the shoulder joint and the torso. That way it rotates with the arm without being directly attached to the arm. But Brian has said multiple times that their goal is more to the aesthetic being true to the animation as possible, sacrificing articulation as necessary. I'm not surprised the articulation is limited. Cool look, but the shelf space needed plus the price will probably make this one a pass for me. I have the pre-transformed version and that will likely be enough for me. Looking forward to your Buzzsaw review!!

Amazing review you answered all my questions except for how he looks next to the ramen toys one but I think he has bang for your buck its disappointing that he cant get in a intimidating chair pose

I’m actually thinking about buying both of these, but the detail about the interchangeable parts is what stops me from doing it, I bought Ming the merciless and The phantom from defenders of the earth and as soon as I change a hand, paint would come right off. Why can’t they make the fingers articulated too?

Me too but you gotta think a Skyrunner would be probably as big as the Thunder tank and that thing was selling for like 480.00 plus really even if they did what would I really do with it? I don't think I'd have the space for something that big

@TheReviewSpot Display it. Like we do with the millennium falcon. Place it on top of the shelves; buy shelves. I picture a sky runner with poseable tentacles. Matching mon*star colorway. Maybe detachable armor. It would be pretty sick.

yeah I don't have the kind of space in my collection room to put out a Millennium Falcon, most of my shelving isn't wide at all, unless I tried to suspend it from the ceiling but I always think its just a matter of time before the line broke and that vehicle would smash on the floor :(

bwhahahaha. I bought him and returned him after a week. Hes gorgeous but he cant do anything lol. I'm not an articulation guy but man he cant move much and i tear up paint when I try to get him into positions. he even slides off his own throne if the legs on ur copy arent stable. I also didnt care for his accessories I mean they are accurate but nothing I had a desire to see him with. Monstar himself....has such a power shelf presence but I returned him and got that monster hyde figure thats going around in reviews. Ill pick up monstar again when he's cheaper which....once ppl find out how limited he is in posing despite looking gorgeous, I think hell be on sale eventually. He was just a bit too limited for what I wanted and with other stuff like furay planet figures out and Other guys putting out bangers he can wait while I put that 94 bucks(shipping) else where. Still enjoyed the review...spot! lol
