The flag/banner is called a sashimono and sometimes samurai wore them into battle, not too different than a solider carrying a flag into battle.

Honestly, I think Super 7 could reuse this figure to make the other three turtles in Samurai outfits if they wanted... Maybe exclusives to places like BBTS like that Undercover Raph (which tells us Undercover Don is coming at some point).

The flag is called a sashimono, for samurais to show their clan allegiance during battles in feudal Japan. Its not "weird" or "goofy" just because you dont know what it is. 🤨

The lack of the vertical hinged wrist is a big problem here. They are cutting that from more and more figures. I know he comes with a lot already but for a sword based character, vertical hinged wrist are a must have. Also the swords look way gummy. Honestly for a figure that has been on my most wanted list since the line was announced he just seems alright instead of great.

Still have my original samurai Leo that I got back in 1992 (I believe). He was my first ever TMNT figure and I was super excited to see this version coming out... unfortunately I won't be picking this one up anytime soon. Hopefully he's still readily available when I have some extra funds to throw around

Looks great. My only concern is whether Super7 provided a 'polished' version for review with a better paint job to increase sales, only to give everyone else a bootleg-looking model 😂. I may pick this up once I see it in person.

Super 7 bias too much? Yesterday toyshiz upload his review and the hips on these are super loose, so much it can't stand. In the video yours clearly started unbalancing and opening wide spread its legs but you go and said are tight... Is a shame when a reviewer loose objectivity.

Well you have to bare in mind Toy Bro receives his toys for free so they are somewhat of a sponsored ad. That said sometimes these figures vary when it comes to Stability. Take Metal Head for example all I hear is people complaining saying legs are loose falls over easily yet mine has never fallen over! My Toxic Avenger on the other hand has loose hips/legs!

It's always the same thing with this guy and Super7 figures. He avoid to talk about QC issues that are super obvious and we all have seen in many other reviews or social media posts. Then he allowed himself the luxury of talking trash about other brands... All the money Super7 doesn't invest improving their figures must go to people like him.

The one toyshiz reviewed was 1000x more loose than this one in the waist. This one still looks a little loose, but the one toyshiz reviewed was the loosest joint I’ve ever seen.

I don’t get why more companies dont give the turtles waist twists? There’s literally a belt line built into there designs. And every waist twist breaks the silhouette, even like on a bucky cap body, when you turn the waist on a torso you break the silhouette (Unless their torso is a tube)

@@Nunos645cgh Nothing is wrong persay. It's all matter of expectation. My expectation was that this was going to have metallic gold paint per the promo shots, but it doesn't. To me, it looks cheap (the gold).
