Super701 gets a new DUC Propeller! Part 1: Unboxing and talk about plans for comparison and testing.

This is part 1 of a short series of videos featuring the installation, testing, and evaluation of a new DUC propeller for the Zenith Super701 with a direct-drive 130hp ULPower 350iS aircraft engine.
Part 1 consists of unboxing and the game plan for testing/comparing the prop in various ways.

I must say that so far I am quite impressed with what I have seen from DUC. The prop seems to be a high-quality build and is definitely lighter than the Whirlwind prop that I was using before. I will be weighing and publishing results from both the new DUC prop and my current Whirlwind prop.

looking forward to part 2, thanks! Interesting that the blade chord length on the Duc looks alot less than your existing. Be interesting to see how it can develop as much thrust when it would appear its taking alot less of a "bite" of the air.

I've been wondering about building a 701 with a 1320 gross. What did you have to do to get yours there. I'm afraid if I try I'll just wind up increasing the empty weight and not really helping my payload capacity.
