Great to see that your lines improved with the help in the last session shown. It shows that not everything has to be done alone. Just ask around, get some info from other riders and watch the lines other riders do. And if you're lucky someone is willing to lead a few laps. I have seen you Assen footage and there is room to improve (as always 😁). If you want to return to Assen and have a more positive experience, let me know. I'll can suggest a few track day organisations without rude organizers.

@sp00ky196911 ай бұрын
@@ChasingTenths It looks like a great way to do it. I’m in Prague most of the time and my bikes live there, so I’m a one-hour drive from Most and just under two hours from Brno. Getting the bike transported to circuits further away isn’t something I’ve seen available from here but certainly it can be done from Germany. I’ve booked with NoLimits for Brno in 2024 - I’ve not been to one of their events before. Brno is a great circuit - plenty of room and a lovely flow to the circuit. It’s an easy track to learn as well. In a recent MCN video Casey Stoner picked it as a favourite. New owners are bringing new investment so hopefully it will get MotoGP back at some point. Most is great fun - quite technical and you never get a moment to relax. Have a great new year and I’ll look forward to the next videos - particularly welcome while I’m counting down the days to sunny days and hot tarmac. 👍

@@sp00ky1969 that’s brilliant , so glad Casey liked it too , the layout seems epic I did a trackday recently to Assen TT in Holland and we took our own bikes but it’s so much easier with no limits or redline or focused events or race shift or slick Trackdays , we have so many companies here , U.K. people are crazy about Trackdays When you do your nollmits event You will meet a lot of U.K. guys You never know I might be there too lol Nothing planned yet at all But you never know I once filmed for the German endurance championship team and they have one round at Most , and I nearly did that in 2020 with them but covid spoilt the plans

I’m a new subscriber. I truly love the production quality - you clearly put a lot of work into it. I will definitely watch all 3 parts. You mentioned at the start that you had a problem with your clutch cable tension, which was fixed with duct tape. I’m not a mechanic, but surely an incorrectly tensioned clutch cable would explain your lack of top speed as well as the deactivation of the quickshifter (it disengages when it detects the clutch is pulled in). It appears you were just doing clutchless shifting by blipping the throttle while applying pressure on the shift lever, and a slipping clutch is certainly going to rob you of top-line speed (and power).
@ChasingTenths11 ай бұрын
Heyyy thanks for subscribing and much appreciate your words … that clutch cable tension was minor, the duct tape was just precautionary, the lads sorted it out but we just wanted to make sure all be ok … The top speed issue was totally unrelated It was due to an exhaust servo valve closing after 11,000 revs I’ll explain everything in part 3 It will make a lot of sense :)

@ChasingTenths11 ай бұрын
It all depends on the type of riders on that particular event So the fastest rider we had that event was going 1 min 57 So I am not sure about novice group Buy cut off to move out of intermediate was 2 min 16 To fast 1 Fast 2 group was 2 min 10 or below.. I asked this question to them at Andalusia 3 weeks later And they said it’s all on the type of rider skill on a particular track event .. if you did a 1 min 55 .. you are flying my friend Hats off to you Absolutely epic that My best was 2 min 8 But then I had bike issue for 2 full days Buy I’d probably still do a 2 min 5 max even without the issue

@@ChasingTenthsSince upshift in 4th 5th and 6th don't really need a quick shift I'm curious what the problem root cause was?
@ChasingTenths Жыл бұрын
@@lonpfrb yes that’s why it wasn’t affecting my riding much cause I was easily upshifting my manually closing the throttle but the confusion was the lack of power , revs and top speed …the problem which we found on the morning of day 3 was the exhaust valve which has now been free’d from the servo motor was shutting the exhaust at anything more than 11,500 revs or full throttle , the lock wire which kept that valve open had come loose so we put a new wire and tripled the lock wire and it’s now singing nicely
