This is so relatable, i high school you and your mates always talk about getting girls or having girlfriends not realizing that having girlfriends inevitably separates you from your mates..which is ok as that’s life. But this scene so beautifully captures that moment almost as if Seth realizes that’s how it’s gonna be from now on. Definitely miss waking up with a hangover with a mate after a crazy day/night, but glad for those memories!

100%. A sequel would've ruined this comedic masterpiece's legacy. To me this is literally the best comedy of the 2000s and that was when comedies were actually still allowed to be edgy and rough without people being offended at every little detail. But yeah, looking back at how the movie ended, I almost feel a bit of sadness when it feels like you're losing a bestie whether it's due to a significant other, or moving away for college, etc.

This is the scene that I remember thinking that Emma Stone was going to have a good career. The "yeah" through the offset clenched teeth when they mention the eye and then the very quick widening of her eyes at the end of her inviting Seth to come shopping with her were such immaculate touches to the scene. Having that somewhat FEAR that I was drifting away from them the second they left because I wasnt within daily or even weekly hangout distance. It was a must trying to keep up with them and staying in their lives though social media as much as possible due to how comfortable I was in our little group...but ultimately accepted that LIFE just happens and you had to start over in another circle of friends...this happens time and time again but you will always remember the first time...such is life.
