I just realised why there are so many gems just around the place. The Ganados excavated the shit out of those underground caves to find more Plagas, and as a result found a shit ton of precious stones. Now they REALLY don't have the ability or inclination do make them into anything like a crown or necklace or whatever, so they just have random jewels hanging around. It also explains why there were precious stones in the ceiling of that tunnel: They made the tunnel with stones they mined whilst looking for Plagas, and they didn't give enough of a shit to take them out.

The best way to arrange your attaché case is to put the rocket launcher horizontally across the middle, put the striker upside down underneath it, the Red9 in the bottom right corner, the stock in the top left, alphabetize the herbs, stack the grenades, keep the Broken Butterfly in a large bass and balance the rifle through the carry handle. Honestly, it's like you don't know ANYTHING.

miguel almeida Yeah I'm with you. I don't hate the TMP but I've played the game a lot of times and eventually you would rather leave space for others guns. The TMP is best for crowd control so you can really quickly shoot at people's legs or something, but after a certain point when your skill develops enough, it's not really necessary. The ironic thing for me is that while I mostly agree with Pat, the TMP would have saved him from several attacks. Maybe he was much better at the game before, maybe it's his first time playing in a while, but saying the TMP is for people with no confidence and then displaying overconfidence is....well, it's fucking hilarious and that's why Pat is awesome.

The way the enemies blow up when you shoot the grenade is actually pretty realistic (except the smoke would be red due to the blood). People have died from trying to use old WWII grenades which exploded as they tried to throw it, resulting in many a dumbass into turning into a puff of blood smoke. There is literally a book talking about true events that describes a kid going out this way.

Trey Davis That's true, I think its fire power is at like 1.8, but then you have to go through the whole game with a meh weapon and will probably have a pistol and shotgun that are both already pretty well upgraded. I've played a few playthroughs with the tmp and I don't think it's a piece of shit but to me personally it's not the most practical gun unless you need to shoot at people's legs to control crowds often.

In retrospect, the TMP would have been cooler if it was a UMP-45. I think just having a minor damage buff would have been a good move to make the weapon a little more popular/viable. Not to mention how it's weird that Capcom didn't put another gun for the SMG category. The UMP-45 or something similar could've definitely filled the intermediate role between the TMP and the Chicago Typewriter. There are two rifles, three shotguns and THREE magnums for fuck's sake. But one NG SMG. Wha?

The TMP in this game was a total beast when upgraded, actually. Awesome boss-fight weapon. Enormous clip, great accuracy and almost no recoil with the shoulder-stock installed on it. The only catch was to not waste its ammo on low-threat mobs. Get it upgraded and save its ammo for difficult situations / boss-fights (and with a 250 round clip that was pretty easy to do). Also needed to make sure to use the capacity upgrade trick to get yourself literally hundreds of rounds of free ammo for it.
