Quite a few of these kinds of cars can also be spotted in the posher parts of London, occasionally in convoy or parked up around Harrods. Surprisingly, sometimes with Dubai plates. I'm still not sure what the backstory with that is. Either way, London can be supercar spotter's heaven.

Oil money! Lots of wealthy Arabic men like to come to London to shop and show off, and they're so wealthy it's nothing for them to stick a McLaren or Lamborghini in a shipping container to bring with them.

I used to be a field engineer, I remember going to a private hospital in chelsea that shared a hidden gated carpark with an apartment block, me in my van trying to to manoeuvre with every type of super car you can think of. It was terrifying.

Ashley reckons he wouldn’t get one even if money was no object.. but I heard that tone of voice change whenever he spoke about a Porsche. I would absolutely love to have a GT3 RS. I’d track it all the time, park it in a garage and just sit inside of it for an hour every day stroking the steering wheel

Does anyone know why some roads have blue lines painted across them? Close to where I live there are a few roads with painted blue lines across them, it starts out as 1 painted blue line, then 2, then 3, then 4 and then where the 5 blue painted lines are it says slow so I’m guessing they’re the same as yellow lines across the road, to make you aware of your speed?

The fastest supercars are classed as hypercars. It is a very exclusive club.

Couple of thoughts. A Ferrari has got to be red, the McClarens are gorgeous, the Aston stunning, Countach the same. Hate Porsche's. Drove a 911 many years ago and it put me off for life, (though exorbitant price has too). I'm a little older than you Ashley, so my poster cars were, Lamborghini Muira, Ferrari Daytona, Aston V8 Vantage. 😊

My dream car is the audi r8.. but the problem with these cars for me is that most of the people who own them are the most entitled! If I'm ever fortunate enough to acquire an r8 I will drive it the same as I drive my citreon c1! just because its expensive and fast doesn't give you right to drive like an idiot! To answer your question honestly, I’ve not promoted Dubai’s tourism at all. How poorly different groups are treated can’t just be aimed at Dubai. I’m not an expert on any laws but I wouldn’t ever dream of pointing the finger without looking close to home first and with the British Colonial Empire’s actions in history it would be the pot calling the kettle black. Do you know a lot about French Colonial History by any chance? I hope that answers your question.
