People still act like Murphy wasn’t at fault in 05 even when the guy admitted he screwed up himself
@anotheruserism3 жыл бұрын
when did he admit to screwing up? He said he was happy to take 50% of the blame and was pretty clear Ambrose was also to blame. Murphy was holding his line as entitled and Ambrose had not completed pass. Murphy wasn't obligatedto slam on the brakes putting himself in danger of being rear ended by another car. Murphy has said it wasn't worth fighting over when neither were going to make the podium. Ambrose has said in the heat of the moment he pushed it but in hindsight shouldn't have. Ambrose also said he respects Murphy but wouldn't have him over for dinner. So how do you draw conclusion it was all Murphy's fault? Ambrose features in more than one so he ain't no saint either.

Yeah no. Even if Murphy was at full blame for the crash, if Ambrose had just worn his balaclava, he wouldn’t have had to do the extra stop, and he wouldn’t have come out behind Murphy, and he probably would’ve been a lot calmer too. Ambrose put himself in that spot

As a nascar fan I do not understand why tf they’re say is over after a little bumper touch
@martenspitzner4083 жыл бұрын
Because these cars are more fragile than a nascar. They are built way more complicated and detailed than nascars, are built to be lighter, don't have as strong fenders and therefore the damage to these cars is often far more significant than it looks like plus it makes far more of a difference if the fender is still where it needs to be on road courses than it is on ovals, where you only need to drive into one direction. The direction changes stress the suspensions far more, therefore damage to the suspension is way more bad on road courses than it is on ovals and hence the fenders are lighter, they tend to suffer from damage earlier and easier which has a negative effect on the steerability of the car.
@mickyzzzeee2 жыл бұрын
Road racing isn’t necessarily a contact sport…NASCAR on the other hand like everything in America, is simple, requires pretty rudimentary set of skills and probably why there aren’t many Americans who have transitioned into road racing. Because they’re shit
