So looking through the comments, I see a lot of hatred and negative feedback, this video was made when the car was still being tuned, and was not fit for road use, never once in this video was it Wide open Throttle, yes it’s a 5.7 R/T, I do daily it, it has a few tunes, they each make different numbers for hp & tq, but I received a bad blowoff valve so waiting for new one and dyno tuning again soon!

I had a similar issue with my R/T. There are 2 fuel pumps under the back seat that have a tendency to crack and leak fuel. If it’s a bad enough crack the engine will starve for fuel. Have him check for recalls bc if I remember correctly mine was covered under a recall.

Omg I can't get over it, it's stupid funny on how small the tires are on a stock 5.7 r/t lol so you understand what I mean the rear tires that come stock on a r/t are the same width as a stripped Ford f150 lol my buddy went and had a procharger put on his r/t and it made the car worse lol because on stock tires it was impossible to get traction so I convinced him to go get rims and tires ( m/t drag radials) cause this was his first real car. He is a car enthusiast but didn't know a lot about cars but I did so I helped him build his car ( as in helping him choose the rite stuff) but after all said and done it came out amazing. Its a 2018 challenger 5.7 r/t with a black series procharger and tuner which made 697hp and 673ft/lb torque then a some 20" black wheels (rear20x10.5 front19x9) with a 315 m/t drag radial, also got a new suspension (not sure on brand) then a front strut brace and a rear triangular strut brace, full 3" borla extreme atak catback exhaust with Longtube headers, new trans ( it's still the factory 10 speed but built by monster transmission built to hold up to 900hp, custom carbon fiber hood it's like the older srt8 charger hood with a single scoop but it's a functional hood, Vicrez carbon fiber areo kit, rear window diffuser, wilwood brakes with color matched calipers, Anderson composites carbon fiber rear seat delete,carbon fiber Braum racing bucket seats w/ black leather and blue stitching and then just a lot of little details which truly makes it stand out above all the other procharged challengers that the 19yr old kids buy and then slap hellcat crap on it and 392 challengers the the 50 yr old guy going through a mid life crisis buys to be cool around those 19yr olds w/ fake hellcats lol

Where are you getting your information? The stock pistons can easily handle the Whipple. Once the heads, cam and injectors are upgraded, I'd reassess with an experienced professional.

Yep automatic transmissions get 3.07 gears. My tremec 6 speed manual with 20 inch wheels gets 3.92 gears. I wasn't impressed with his whipple. My RT shaker pulls better off a line. I've built my own hot rods in the past so I already knew what to look for when I purchased the car. Of course I dont have deep pockets or I would have got an SRT hellcat red eye.

Did he put a carburetor on it? I'm curious how he thought he flooded it. Flooding is something that happened to the carb. His Challenger should be a returnless fuel system as well. Maybe he has an aux pump to increase fuel pressure/enrichment with the boost from the supercharger?

@@albinorhinoGainz both the charger and the challenger are gorgeous , but I do kinda agree 11-12k for around 500hp is pretty pricey, I believe the a whipple set up im looking at for my 2014 ram will put me over 500hp, at least ive been seeing over 500hp from other rams with same set up, but thats only like 6500-6700 if I remember right, but none the less still beautiful cars
