Supercharged K24 Powered Fiat X1/9 | Ultimate Track Car Challenge

What happens when you take a Fiat X1/9 and add a Turbo Honda K24 engine and lots of aero? Turns out it makes a really good car to take on the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge.

If you have a Honda transaxle in it gearing would be easier than taller wheels. Thar car is awesome

Some tracks this diameter works great. Tracks like Daytona and Road Atlanta long straightaways it’s just easy to throw on a larger diameter and changing gears in this car.

I've had five x19s. I currently have a 1978 and 1980, was going to strip down the 80 for parts since my motor is bad in my favorite 1978. but thinking of just parting out the 1980 and putting a k24 in my 78. was really wanting to check out the way he did his k24 conversion I've already talked to the company for the conversion kit but really wanted to get real life input I've never done a conversion. thinking of selling off the fuel injected five speed out of my 80 along with all the parts to pay for the conversion. but it seems like nobody wants to share their secrets that much. really wish I could get a hold of the number three car above
