After finally getting some sense out of the carburation, we got it back on the dyno to see what we were playing with. And it doesn't end here....

Heyy whats up ! I love it ! Where did the supercharger kit come from ? Thanks man
@TheFlyingDuckTheory6 ай бұрын
Hey. The supercharger is a Rotrex C15/60 and was originally bought with the cooler/filter/pipes and traction fluid from Greece. The fitting kit, ie the mounting plate and all the spacers were made by us specifically for this bike.

Any info on what you did on the carbs? I'm doing a turbo on my VF750C which is very similar overall and have been trying to figure out if I need new needles in the carbs

Just balance the float bowl pressure to the plenum. We used a pitot tube taken from the charge tube directed through the breather tubes and a variable (rising rate) fuel pressure gauge with the pressure tube taken from the plenum. The size of the pitot tube will vary depending on your area and jetting. I have an 8mm outer diameter tube with a 5mm inlet hole bored into the side. The needles are standard in my case and I am using 130 main jets. Nothing else has been changed.

What year VFR750? Double sided swing arm. Everything about it looks custom!
@TheFlyingDuckTheory5 жыл бұрын
The bike is a 1990-93 model. The only things left of the original bike are the engine and frame. All other parts have been either taken from other bikes or made especially. The swinging arm is from an early CBR900. We have since fitted a new, longer arm and added notrous oxide.

TheFlyingDuckTheory any documentation on the build? where did you get the supercharger? Custom welded manifold air box? I have a 94 and really want 130+whp. Would be awesome to see the side of the bike.

If you go to Team Flying Duck Theory on face book, all public details are on there. The supercharger is a Rotrex C15/60 but may not be the best choice. TTS would be the people to ask. The other problem is that the 94> model has flat slide CV carbs which can stick when under boost.

@Bruce Wayne I needed to extend the arm for racing. A single arm is difficult ro make longer and would ve been very heavy. This is a modified CBR900 arm and because it is twin sided, it resists the torsional forces better. Plus, I wanted 3 spoke wheels as I like the look and they are easier to clean.

Hi TheFlyingDuckTheory, I'm in the very early stages of building a RC36 swapped Magna. My goals are to build it for boost but there isn't to much information about it. I went to your Facebook page that you mentioned in the comments on another video and cannot find to much information about your build there. Would you be open enough to give me some advice about this?
@TheFlyingDuckTheory3 жыл бұрын
Hi. Sure, if I can. What would you like to know?

@@TheFlyingDuckTheory What was done internally to the motor, is it stock or did you have to have custom pistons, connecting rods, and crank made for it? I'm trying to get an idea of what needs to be done to make It feasible before diving into it.
@TheFlyingDuckTheory3 жыл бұрын
@@camdenk8215 The engine internals are stock. The only mods done so far is a lightened generator rotor and a one off lock up clutch. I have recently had a gearbox modified (under cut and pro-cut) but not yet fitted it. With nitrous, the bike is now hitting 180+ bhp but I am using a miix of Shell V-power petrol (99 ron) and E85 bio fuel to prevent detonation.
@camdenk82153 жыл бұрын
@@TheFlyingDuckTheory Thank you very much for that information. I was worried about the the limitations of the stock motor. My goal is to obtain around 150 BHP while trying to maintain some amount of reliability with it. We'll see how it holds up long term, that's the nature of the beast I suppose.

Is this the big bang engine??
@TheFlyingDuckTheory3 жыл бұрын
No. We set it back to standard to develop the supercharger system.
