Supercharging my moms minivan (2015 Toyota Sienna)

You guys make it seem like any DIY person with a 2gr-Fe can just do this. But like you said your dad has been fiddling with TRD for decades, which explains why it seems so easy to just bolt on and redo things. I have an 06 Avalon and have been fantasizing about doing what you’re doing but finding out the cost of the kit just brought me back to reality really quick. Please keep doing more videos of the build and the Solara as well. If I can’t afford to do this, I shall live vicariously through your project. Do you guys have a shop close to LA? You mentioned about going to Long Beach for an event.

Take a look at the HKS supercharger kit. It is much cheaper than the Aurion/ Evora kit.

Yep TRD Australia they manufactured a model called the Toyota Aurion Trd hence the red TRD Australian supercharger. The rest of the 2GR FE superchargers out there that are not red are all copies of the Australian TRD supercharger.

Look into Mapecu piggy back. Easier to install and tune than Emanage. You think you're safe with the fuel but log your timing. Stock, you will be 22-24 degrees + 7 psi + 10.8 cr. Supercharged Lotus 2gr is 13-16 peak torque to 19 at redline.

Bought two new ones and two used ones, the one we used was new and on monkey wrench racing the whole kit is about 10 to 11 grand. www.monkeywrenchracing.com/product/lotus-oem-supercharger-evora-s-2009-16-complete-replacement-with-lower-manifold/ This link isn’t the whole kit, You would still need a pulley plate, belt, injectors, and something for tuning. It’s just blower and manifold.👍

Yeah fixed that right after the video lol and I think it is. Got the blower from a crate engine from a lotus racing team.

Hide them gauges in the eye glass holder pop it down but still needs oil pressure gauge and add a 50 shot to 75 shot 💉 of spray

Was gonna do that but the we relocated the gauges to the center of the dash. It’s in the other can video I believe. And yeah we still need to add fuel pressure and a oil pressure gauge. As far as more power we are going with a harrop tvs1900 supercharger. Nitrous won’t be needed lol

Is it a stock engine? If so how many miles and how has it held up? I’m debating on doing this on my 09 venza awd 2gr. I was going to do this to my 2011 2gr Camry but it was recently totaled from a deer hitting the car and I ended picking up the venza up from the dealership I work at.

We don’t know haven’t dyno’d it, still need to tune but on Monkey Wrench Racing they claim, with just a blower on 5.5psi, it makes 345hp. It’s very unique and the only one like it (as far as I know) so I’ll say it was worth it lol👍 and what year Sienna?

As of right now we have nothing for cooling but planning on running water-meth in the future and we’re more interested in WHP numbers than MPG’s lol. And Roughly 10k and that’s just the blower.👍

The engine is from the lotus evora, the Evora s is supercharged from the factory, could you use the ecu from that car to skip custom tunning? I have a toyota sienna I wanna supercharger also but im stumped on tunning also

I don’t think it will work, they use a different ECU.

Although the connectors are the same, the pinouts of the harnesses aren't, so it won't work. Same with using the TRD Aurion ECU.

My dad knew a guy on a lotus racing team and bought multiple superchargers for his projects, unfortunately the 2017 and has a 2gr-fks, and the blower we got wouldn’t fit on the 2gr-fks only the 2gr-fe.

Guys have been doing this on 2gr-fe swapped mr2's for years. I finally got my budget together and bought one from Australia for my Venza. I had to buy the whole engine because they didn't want to part it out.
