That sounds so wrong in Hearthstone terms but on the flip side sounds so right in generic fantasy class terms, "warriors" are usually the big dumb strong people charging headfirst into battle while "hunters" usually take a more tactical and cautious approach to defeating their opponents. Arguably it's been a significant flavor fail that their roles are almost always reversed in Hearthstone.
@C1umsyJester5 жыл бұрын
Cyan Light yeah but it goes against the class abilities that’s why it’s wrong. Not the actual classes and how they work atm
@_skud5 жыл бұрын
Cyan Light I would disagree. Warriors and hunters aren't that narrow as far as character types and hearthstone has just gone for other types of a hunter and a warrior. Warrior in hearthstone is a tactician that's proficient at killing gruesomely (whirlwind effects, execute, shield slam) and Hunter is a beast master that will hunt you down... hard (abundant beasts and beast synergy, hero power, KC)
@eiknaurjensen79275 жыл бұрын
@@TheSquareOnes But in wow, warrior is the OG tank class while hunter is notorious for being the class for noobs. In hearthstone warrior is the OG control class while hunter is notorious for being the class for noobs. You could argue that tanking isn't necessarily the same as control in hearthstone, and you'd be right, but since tanking is heavily tied to group gameplay, the closest you can really get in a game like hearthstone would be being tough to kill, which is the main thing hearthstone warriors are known for

I'm pretty sure people are afraid of failing because they don't want to process through all of the stuff they'd need to do in order to compensate for their failure. Imagine failing a year in university. If that didn't mean "right, now you need to stick around for an additional year", no one would be afraid of failing.

You know, on the subject of classical music: Is it natural that with a lot of classical music it's difficult to tell what you should be feeling about the song?
@etherealg39405 жыл бұрын
I mean, it depends. A lot of classical music wasn't composed to elicit a specific feeling like joy or sadness, although obviously there are some pieces that do that. A lot of it was simply meant to awe you with the perfection of the composition, the harmonies, et cetera, sort of like how you feel when looking at monumental architecture.
@redblue2005 жыл бұрын
That's partly a thing because you aren't as familiar with the idioms of classical music... which, frankly, get obfuscated further because we lump literally a thousand years of musical tradition under the umbrella of "classical music." The more music of a particular time period you listen to, the more in-tune you'll be with what each piece is trying to accomplish. Do it enough, and you'll even start picking up on what elements of the music is cool-when a composer is subverting the expectations of the audiences they were writing for, when they're pushing the boundaries of the music of their time, and so forth. Basically, a lot of listeners are missing a lot of the context that helps to appreciate classical music.
@ButzPunk5 жыл бұрын
Whatever a song makes you feel is the right thing to feel. There's no "should" in the appreciation of music.

@@antarath517 if you look at it's tribe you'll see "All" so it makes sense given the way the game responds to 'other' tribes.
@eiknaurjensen79275 жыл бұрын
@@antarath517 Don't think of the italicized text on amalgam as "card text". It's just an explaination of its tribe, because "all" could be interpreted as the name of a new tribe, rather than meaning "this card is a member of all tribes". Amalgam is actually just a textless card which is a member of all tribes. And I think most things which one can know would fit in the category of things "you don't know until you know".
