Horrortale is an Undertale Alternate Universe, which describes the events happening after one of neutral endings. The plot takes place after the Exiled Queen ending, where Toriel retakes the throne, but Undyne exiled her back to the ruins and ascended the throne herself, driven by the growing desire to destroy humanity. Her rule was exceptionally cruel, and after some time the Underground has come to its downfall. Total luck of food has made monsters eat human falling from the surface, and because of it almost all of them have gone mad. Now they’re extremely desperate after the many failed attempts to reach the Surface.
The main hero is 9-12 years old Aliza. She is a weak and shy girl, so she can’t fight the monsters, but she can be cruel. The girl fell in the Underground long time after the neutral run. Has nothing to do with the main hero of Undertale. Aliza’s soul is Perseverance\Fear.

Headcanon: Aliza's soul would've been patience if she wasn't so fearful. Both involve stagnation and waiting to a degree, and the colors seem very similar, moreso than her soul and perseverance.

So if we follow that logic next in the cycle would be Patience. But again this all an "if it wasn't fear" situation.

@Shelincy Williams Actually, Toriel made butterscotch-cinnamon pie. It wasn't JUST cinnamon. And even then butterscotch is still edible just fine. If there was too much butterscotch the most that would happen is that Aliza would have gotten a tummy ache. But there is no evidence to point to it being the butterscotch. You may be thinking of buttercup flowers, which *are* actually poisonous.

That's because Frisk was never meant to have a personality. Frisk is a reflection of you. If Frisk had a reaction to everything that happened, it would imply that it's how you, the player, is meant to feel. That's why he has the blank -_- expression for the whole game. How you feel is how he feels. If you feel good about killing Toriel, Frisk feels good about murdering Toriel. If you feel bad about killing Toriel, Frisk feels bad too. In other words, His personality is your personality.

I feel this ended too abruptly, but I can still understand the ending: Toriel, already having lost sanity, has grown a deep hatred for all monsters and kills them all on sight, and because of that, she is alone. It's likely that all the children who fell before Aliza caught on to this and left (only to die by the hands of monsters under Undyne's rule). She can't bear to see yet another human child leave her, so she poisons Aliza, making her fall ill and rely on her care, so that she can never leave. It's a rather twisted and depressing story. Although, I couldn't really piece together the "secret" rooms, especially the one with Napstablook's smashed headphones and the soggy posters of Mettaton. I understand that the one room with Azriel's photo is probably a shrine for him. Definitely curious about the locked room... ...and wondering why the key was never used for anything.

Alright, this game is Undertale but 8 more years into the future. This was the ending where frisk was still doing pacifist but wanted to kill Asgore. ( I think ) And didn’t let undyne and alphys date. Another thing with this AU is that They don’t Have Food In any shops. I think it’s because Undyne is keeping all the food with her, Leaving everyone starve. And Horrortale sans... was normal sans before Mostly when Undyne called Him over to her. She asked him to join the royal guard but he refused. Undyne speared his head making the crack and the red eye. And he didn’t die but he was an undead dead?!? And yes, It was in the beginning of this video but.. Undyne made the law that if any human falls down here should be eaten. ( some parts is my theory, I know it’s bad. ) And I’m still confused with one thing... in the original Horrortale game not in 2019, Papyrus had spaghetti and Sans had Hot Dogs. Why couldn’t The underground eat those things?! And still questioning What happened to papyrus? He’s more taller and has dirty teeth. Edit 2. Another another thing is, Toriel just murdered her O w n child. It left me sad when napstablook’s things were down in the secret thing. I have a feeling The monsters in the underground don’t rely on their magic anymore. 2x you can kind of hear the normal song. The pie might’ve been sweet and delicious from a hallucination, but was actually bad. And I have a feeling monsters in the underground used to explore to find foods. They might not do that anymore. The food might be rotten from 8 more years of the underground being left behind. Toriel wanted to save you and let you live with her for a long time.. But when she made the pie and you got sick she might’ve thought it was fresh ingredients. And Aliza’s soul is fear. ( if I haven’t said that then there. ) And with the sans undyne thing The queen and the skeleton were fighting. ( another thing is, how did Toriel still not build her bathroom yet?! )

No. Undyne's law was that every human that falls down in the underground was to be killed as an attempt to collect souls and return to the surface. But when the core went out and food started to become scarce, Undyne became unhinged...especially with how the sentries aren't doing their job i.e. Sans. She got so angry at Sans cuz he was too busy worrying about Papyrus, who was starving. It got physical and she broke Sans's skull. Miraculously, Sans survived but is now pissed. So, he announced to the monsters (unbeknownst to Undyne) that any human that comes down was to be eaten. This was out of spite towards Undyne and her shitty ruling as well as a rather gruesome alternative to take care of Papyrus.
