Though I agree this movie was an embarrassment for everyone involved, I think making the jet invisible both visibly and to radar as well kinda works since it's supposed to be a call back to when Zeus made Themiscyra invisible to the world. Remember in the first wonder woman, the islands don't pop off on any scanners. I think that ability renders objects truly invisible. Still a shit show though

Heya, I think It depends on if the ship is only translucent to visible light or all wavelengths, radar uses radio waves so you can argue that invisibility to visible wavelenghs could make you invisible to radio wavelengths, if invisibility is achieved by translucency to those wavelengths. If its invisible by copying what's on the opposite side onto its surface it would be visible to radar.

Because they filmed a truthful 80's (superhero) movie, not movie that pretends to be 80's. Superman (II/Donner Cut, III and IV if you want to go pedant with me) movies didn't had "eighties music". Neither did Supergirl a literal 1984 female lead superhero movie. Even if you go fullest pedant on me and say The Movie takes place somewhere in 60s they still don't blast you with Bob Dylan nor was there any Johnny Cash when Superman was flying here and there. Neither did Terminator. Neither did any 80's James Bond (except particular theme by eighties bands like in Dalton films or Moore's last). Batman 1989 (80's movie too, esp since it was made even earlier than 89, even though it had it's own kind of era) Even Back to the Future didn't really have, except it's soundtrack songs.

Diana looks like she is floating when running, not touching the ground, even when skating there is head and body movement. The effect is very similar to superman (1978) when clarks runs alongside a train, that scene was filmed with the actor suspended from a crane, this looks the same. Diana flying is not so strange, it is part of WW powers and in this universe she is a goddess , so she can do anything, and is still discovering her powers

I've watched some reviews, and the main problem with the flying (and turning invisible) seems to be that she supposedly discovered these powers in 1984 or a bit before, yet in the movies that take place after this one (i.e. Batman v. Superman & Justice League), she's not using them. It's less "WTF! She shouldn't be able to do that!" and more "Wait, why isn't she using either of these powers later in the timeline?"

First things first, while there were parts that I enjoyed, this movie was a hot mess and most of it made no sense. However, the beginning shows Diana taking a short cut and cheating in an effort to get what she wanted. The theme of the movie is that there are no short cuts and you can't just cheat your way into something. Everybody who used a wish to get what they want were trying to take a short cut and cheating to get what they want. Diana was literally willing to cheat an innocent guy out of his body and his life just to have Steve back. She was also cheating fate and death by bringing Steve back. Sometimes life sucks and you simply have to find a way to grieve and move on. There are no short cuts and sometimes what's lost is gone forever.

This one's actually pretty clear, as she makes her wish on the plane but doesn't actually get anything until Max is stealing power from everyone in the world and then gives a portion to her.

Either he made someone else specifically wish for her to become a cat person OR he granted a cat's wish. I choose the latter.

The person to blame would be Patty Jenkins. Apparently the first wonder woman movie was going to have a similar ending where WW talks to Ares similar to how she talks to maxwell Lord at the end of this film but WB forced her to include a fight sequence in the first movie. This movie she was given free reign to do whatever she wanted, she got rid of most of the behind the scenes talent from the first movie so that her friends could work on this movie and it shows.

This is the least valid problem I have seen about the movie. Other guy didn't exist anymore, it was Chris Pine and he gave consent. The best part is you're complaining about made up scenarios of "if the roles were reversed" and in doing so are exactly what you complain about. Snowflake.

It's never explained why Diana started to loose her powers. The thing i could think of is that in some runs in the comics, she began to loose her strength while being in love. If we follow that mindset on the movies, she never stopped loving Steve so it doesn't make sense. And after that, she ''let him go'' and suddenly unlocks the ability to fly just by remembering what Steve told her. So she becomes stronger after almost dying? She's a Saiyan?

The funniest thing about this movie, which makes zero sense, was that Maxwell Lord didn't even need to renounce his wishes and give up his powers to save his dumb kid... he could have just wished for him to be safe. And his kid wasn't even in an imminent danger to begin with, he was just running in a street. And let's say, just for the sake of it, that he was truly in danger, how the hell does giving up your powers gonna change anything? It makes no goddamn sense.
