Superdome Renovations - Citadel Builders, LLC

Citadel Builders took the lead in a Joint Venture with the Roy Anderson Corporation to complete the $70 million final phase of renovations to this iconic structure.
Completing 18 new luxury suites, a new press box and extensive renovations to the Saint's Locker Room, all between seasons, required detailed scheduling, close coordination, and extensive resources.
With the Saint's season on the line, the entire lower bowl of the Superdome had to be demolished and built back in less than five months. Demolition of the existing structure, construction of new foundations and the fabrication and installation of enormous amounts of new structural steel and precast had to be completed between the final whistle of the last home game and the kick-off of the next season home opener. An expanded Plaza Level Concourse, new rest rooms and new concessions greeted a sold out Superdome.
