FIRST DAY of Holidays at Magic Kingdom 2023! Hub Grass Picnic, Grand Flo Gingerbread House & More

It's the FIRST DAY of Holiday decorations at Magic Kingdom! Let's get a first look at all the beautiful garland, Christmas trees and decorations on Main Street USA, have a picnic in the Cinderella Castle hub, see lots and lots of new Christmas 2023 merchandise, and visit the Grand Floridian to see the Gingerbread House being built! We also have a hub grass picnic trying a new Starbucks holiday drink, and a delicious grilled cheese with tomato soup, a classic Disney staple meal, with views of Cinderella Castle! Let's also enjoy the wonderful Dapper Dans barber shop quartet, see the Festival of Fantasy Parade, check out the HUGE new 2023 holiday merchandise collections in The Emporium, and then hop on the monorail for a surprise trip to the Grand Floridian Resort to watch them literally building the famous Gingerbread house for 2023, and get a free sample of their delicious gingerbread, baked in house by their Grand Floridian bakery team! Hi, this is Holly. Thank you so much for sharing. My husband & I always went to Walt Disney World every year the 1st week of December since around 1996. We stopped when Covid hit & haven't yet been back because we don't want to leave our aging dog.❤ So thank you so much. We used to visit all the resorts to see the Gingerbread displays. I loved the monorail finale montage, which made me feel like I was going home while relaxing, taking in the day - OMG what a great shot, shooting through the parallel monorail at the entrance. I would save that if I were you to use as a transition in the future. 👏👏

Always amazes us how quickly Disney pivots with the overnight holiday decorations. To learn that they actually have entirely separate and distinct teams for the Christmas Tree and the Garlands...Mickey truly has an army on his hands. No mosquitos at Disney!! 😂 Always nice just to take in the atmosphere in the hub and watch a parade or two, especially when you have a grilled cheese sandwich to keep you company. The gingerbread display at Grand Floridian is such a marvel, too! With all the samples they're giving out, I'm low key surprised that they have enough gingerbread left to finish the house....but Disney (uh) finds a way. ✨ Great video, Jackie! We've got a little more spooky left in us before we fully turn the page, but will be enjoying all of your holiday content along the way. Happy Holidays and Stay Enthused!

I love all the Christmas decorations!!!! It’s my favorite holiday. I did not know Starbucks had grilled cheese and tomato sandwich. I will have to try next time.. I switch between hot and iced peppermint mocha lattes. They are both great either way. I was at MVMCP last year. I had a great time, also to see the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian. The gingerbread was so good, I bought a whole bunch is treats. Thanks for sharing Jackie!!
