Love this video!! 😊 I LOVE the BOJ around my eyes. So much silkier and better to apply than my Avene. (Kind of blew my mind.) Have used Avene 0.1 on my neck for a while and got the naturium on sale recently bc it’s so much more budget friendly. It glides on so nicely and will be better on my husband’s face when he isn’t clean shaven than the thicker Avene.

Took advantage of the recent G&G sale. Even with the sale, its pretty easy to spend enough to get free shipping to US. Starting with A-Game 5 and no irritation, but I do buffer any retinol/retinal products. Nice consistency.

In Europe we have 3 lines from Avene containing retinal:Cleanance Soin nuit lissant,Physiolift Baume nuit lissant and the Eye cream and A-Oxitive Nuit Soin peeling and the Eye cream.

Based on the prices of all the other retinal products, I'm amazed by the price point the BOJ one for such a good product. I'm trying to finish off the Avene Physiolift Eyes product so I can make the switch ASAP. Now to figure out if I wanna keep using my adapalene on my face and reserve the BOJ serum for my eyes and neck OR if I wanna just use the BOJ product all over. Would love your take on that.

My forehead is extremely sensitive and I use the Geek and Gorgeous and no Problem. I have the Maelove on back up but slso expensive for Canadians. Our Shopper's Drug Mart only carries retinol.

Hi Rob, since we're both 30-something and are oily-dehydrated, acne-prone skin twins, I'm curious -- do you prefer retinal or adapalene? I used up 2 tubes of the Geek & Gorgeous A Game 10 and didn't notice any changes. Then I switched to Differin Gel and am just finishing up my first tube... also didn't notice any changes. The Differin Gel's texture fits nicer into my evening routine, but I know retinal may have more studied anti-aging benefits. I know that retinoids can take ages to show effects, so I'm wondering which one I should stick with for the long haul!

G&G really shook up the industry by providing an affordable, accessible Retinal product I mean even with shipping cost it’s still less expensive than my Avene I was using for 2 yrs straight , G&G is the reason we now see brands attempting to create affordable/ accessible Retinal in the states , if G&G full brand gets picked up and placed on a shelf in stores here in the states 💥SHOOK💥 they are killing it 👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽thanks to them offering a high strength 0.1 retinal which my skin has adapted too my wallet is so grateful 😂 , very happy to hear Naturium released there 0.05% for people ready to begin the retinal journey and that price just smacked the industry hopefully they are attempting there 0.1% version for advanced users that will be another big move 🙌🏽 Another small brand here in the states getting overlooked and made an affordable gentle Retinal and is at all our popular spots like Ulta and target and drugstores is eczema honey ‼️ long story long 😂 I stopped ordering my Avene was awaiting my order for G&G so needed something in the meantime ran to target picked up eczema honey was impressed by the inky list on top of its inclusion of retinal and the price I also wanted to try it for specifically my kneck as we know vitamin A can be tuff for that area so I had decided if this works it could be my dedicated kneck area treatment as part of my “ aging gracefully” nighttime routine 😂 and also because my G&G was taking time to get me I really really was impressed with it fast forward 💨 👉🏽 I accidentally did something when I finally got my G&G retinal so I was doing my nighttime skin routine gentle wash pat dry apply my G&G to my face then accidentally applied to my kneck as well then realized what I did and didn’t get any irritation or sensitivity I then did something that breaks the rules I reached for my eczema honey retinal and then applied it on top 😱 I just layered a high strength with a low strength retinal and just broke a lot of rules I also failed to mention Beauty of Joseon is used around the eye area and topped off with layers of thick moisturizer’s my skin is enjoying it 🤯 I figured I’m not peeling no flaking no sensitivity for my skin how is this possible , I already know I’m not venturing into tret unless that becomes affordable and I figured what I’m doing can’t be even as strong as the strongest prescription I’m guessing it must be either encapsulated time release or some of the anti inflammatory ingredients like the oat or honey in the second layer that combats any irritation this started accidental and now has me perplexed………. Oh P.S. and I know I aent the only one thinking it If The Ordinary makes there first Retinaldehyde ………….😱‼️

It is weaker in strength but has vita C, tranexamic acid & bakuchiol. I like it has multiple actives & packaging is super cute. Would love to see your thought on it.

Yeah some Avene products smells almost worse than Red Door by Elisabeth Arden.😆 And that kitschy apricot colored spiral logo on top of that (which on the other goes well with their good looking transparent bottles that I really like). The price on Avene PhysioLift in Sweden is only 23 euro, so I'm gonna buy that to determine if I should invest in other retinal products (Geek and Gorgeous has free shipping for orders over 50 euro)...

I started with the avene 0.5 about 6 or 7 months ago and loved it. It’s elegant and so gentle. I was able to use everyday right off the bat. I’m now on the 0.01 with no problems and I’m noticing such a difference in my skin! I know the price is high if you are in the states but they have 20-30% sales regularly throughout the year so you never have to pay full price.

Thank you for the video, it is so well documented. I have a question about the potential reaction of sensitive skin to this ingredient. I have one by Youth to the people which is 0,15% retinal. I have used Retinol palmitate (+squalane) for quite some time and my skin tolerates it well. I have very sensitive skin, though. Do you think it may react to 0,15% retinal? The serum in question has niacinamide, ceramides, ashwagandha and cloudberry seeds. Thank you.

I use my Avene only a few hours before bed and then wash it off. I don't want the yellow to transfer to my silk pillow case. What do you do in this respect? Any suggestions? Apart from towel on the pillow, wouldn't be able to relax and fall asleep.
