Thanks Doc. Looking to transition into doing my own large cosmetic cases and your videos have been extremely helpful in finding my direction. I’m looking to perhaps take your anterior aesthetics course. Will see you soon

Beautiful work! Do you have a video that describes your workflow? Do you use CEREC to scan the full arch to print the models? Is your characterization based on photos you’ve taken?
@KlimDDS2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I do use mainly photographs for texturing and characterizing. I have found the primescan very complete for accurate scanning, virtual designing software, and printed models when needed. The workflow is similar to analog with the exception to stay totally digital. When working anterior, I will often place a transitional (temporary machined) to allow unrushed time to surface texture and characterize. I appreciate the complete control of the process and feel I have found more satisfaction refining the craft of ceramics using digital and virtual technology. All the best.

How much time do you schedule for the appointment for your single tooth anterior cases? I generally schedule two hours when I'm doing posteriors and not spending much time glazing. For anteriors, it seems like 3 hours would be appropriate for time to do all the contouring and glazing especially if you are glazing after crystallizing. Or do you temporize and have them come back?

Dr Klim I have a question. I tend to get an uneven glaze with the ceram glaze spray on emax, some areas are smooth and others are pitted. What might be the reason for that and do u have a remedy? Thank u so much for the helpful videos.

The Ivoclar spray glaze is technique sensitive and not consistent. An excellent spray glaze is the Endenco Spray glaze. I think this will solve the dilemma in spray glaze quality and will provide consistency. indenco.com/collections/cad-fluorescent-spray-glaze

If you took anche other milling machine and an other cad program, you resolve the problem of the Refinitur, I buy cerec because I see your tutorial, it wasn't a good choice, I have buy the other milling machine, and the real cad program... I can do everything, not limited on one crown, and if I do a pontic I have to set up 140 micron, or the thickness of the crown I can't set up, I have to think how to cheat this program, I am so sad
@KlimDDS2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, the system did not work for you. It is more about your system and skillset to learn the system. When you understand the program, you don't have to cheat the system. I have used more than one system, and it is more about integration, training, and skill set. all the best. The content of this video is a technique used for all ceramics. Hope you can learn something.

@@KlimDDS Hello i used the system at september are 2 years, if you have a discromic teeth and if you want the teeth not thickness but big to hide the discromic inside the teeth you cant do it,if you have a pontic you are in trouble, you have to set up 14o micron min to insert your pontic(if you havent space with antagonist)you are in trouble.Trust me if you use an other program cad with 110 micron disilicate you can insert, AND AN OTHER PROBLEM TYPES OF TEETH(you cant insert library), YOU have the variability biogeneric, but when i see on you you have to finished manualy, my mille mcxl dosent do it , with the other milling machine , idont have this problem, the last is you spend a lot of time on personal abutment, you make the section you save on cerec lab and then you mill on again, the other cad real cad dosent need this time, your time is important,anyone dosent pay you, for the less time,see out of your window ,there are other important and easy cad and milling machine, if you are a dentist and want to make the dental technician on your dental laboratory, you need a really machine, not something that do but not enough. look on premilled abutment, but you have to change prospective
