Just found this series, some of the best presented, clear, and most in-depth coverage of these topics on KZbin - thanks for doing this. Every low-hour PG and PPG pilot should see these!

This YT channel has such fantastic, instructive content. I have seen a lot of paramotor videos, but so far nothing as helpful as video's on this channel.

Really great stuff Chris. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!! Ordering my first reserve now, very much persuaded by the spiral video on this series. Hope to see more from you and for me to be a long term pilot and not a statistic. 👍🏻👍🏻

Great news. Love that you have a reserve now. Holler if you need beta on how to use it.

Thank you for those video, nicely made, good talking. I really like how you mention and teach the mindset/worflow of throwing the reserve! With this one I have little different opinion. The topic is very complex and not easy to cover in generally short video :/ #1 when you fly you need to have situation awerness. Once you have a collapse you HAVE to flash analize what is happening to the wing. The best way is to LOOK! During the training you will learn how much brake input you can allow yourself, for current glider state and shape. (Dynamic, infront of you?). Then you will finetune by the feel, so you dont overbrake the glider. Then some points thay are important: #2 with big collapses, the weight shifting does nothing (one riser is completely dead) the healthy side hand reaction is what is going to save you (pull you out of rotation locked spiral). #3 Weight shifting INTO collapsed side (prevents twisting) and super deep pump is probably the only way to deal with huge asyms. (Of course the routine for heatlthy hand input stays the same as you described it)

Weightshifting works with one riser slack, you need to press your arm against the tight riser and weightshift with a burst of energy. It gets most glideas out of autorisations.
