You're sliding into Scomiche territory. Careful, there's no climbing out of that... For a darker tone, Goodbye from lonely has a lot of bittersweet to it. Future friends itself is an amazing song but definitely born from a lot of pain. Heartthrob and How you feeling have bestie party vibes and are pretty catchy. (How you feelin also has a really interesting backstory to it)

They lived together at the time, and it's shot in their real house (it was a huge mess after) there was a little drinking and a lot of partying in between takes. After a few rehearsals and 4 walk through, they finally got the almost perfect shot of them walking through the house in one take. Nearly everyone there is a friend or the friends of friends (almost because Scott bangs his head going down the stairs)

Fun Fact! Austin Macedo, Mitch's best friend and Creative Director for his Messer project is credited for the video concept and he also makes a couple cameos in the video! It's one of my favorite SF music videos 😍

Omg! I don’t think I have the emotional bandwidth to revisit Scomiche (yes, I said it!! It still lives in my heart…don’t come at me! I’ve accepted/embraced reality…just allow me my fantasy thank-you!). Deny U and Goodbye From Lonely still make me emo AF. One of the things I love the most about the Future Friends album is that it is unabashedly, in-your-face, gay…no subterfuge, no hidden meanings…just songs about two men who love each other…as friends, as lovers, and all the beauty/drama/pain that comes with any relationship. As a church-goin/choir singin child of the 80’s…raised in a strict/cultish religion…the people who nurtured and made me feel safe as a queer teen where my choir directors. Though ‘out’ with us, they had to live their lives in a very suffocating, lonely closet. I watched so many of them die during the AIDS epidemic and always think of them when I listen to this album. They were brilliant musicians who deserved to live in a world where this album existed. I don’t know if Mitch and Scott realize just how special/meaningful this is. 💕

I love the last line that you wrote. We never know who We reach in life and the impact we make upon them. You are 100% correct that Scott in Mitch live their life as their true selves. They are so Comfortable in their own skin and accepting of who they are and at age 58 I'm still not there yet.

Jussifer co-wrote and produced this one (and the title track Future Friends) and has also produced and co-written Petals (and I think maybe You're Out) on PTX's Lucky Ones Deluxe album. So you'll find similar production there. No videos yet, but there are visualisers on PTX's YT channel.

Can I suggest a double superfruit reaction video. They have two videos for their song Bad 4 us. They came out with an animated video when the song was just a single and hadn’t decided they were making an album yet. Then they added it to their future friends album we got a real video. Plus you get to see Mitch bald in one. Have you seen that yet? The song is so good I promise you won’t mind hearing it twice. It was the first original superfruit song we got and it’s still one of my favorites. It’s very much a bop.

Thank you. As usual, I love watching your reaction to one of my favorite videos. The production was superb and I kept getting caught up in Mitch's eyelines - how he was clearly looking at Scott even when Scott wasn't visible. I'm not sure why that struck me so hard, but... shrug. The only problem with your reactions is that you've thrown your net too wide. :D If you were limiting yourself to just PTX and SF, with the occasional foray offsides to other artists, you'd STILL have more to react to than there are hours in the day. And yes, I know that the Home Fries would get huffy if you abandoned them, so feel free to laugh at me, here. "Worth It (Perfect)" is something I would love you to see. The two dancers are just amazing to watch, and I tend to forget that Scott and Mitch aren't them. Plus it's a really great song. It's technically a break-up song, but it doesn't feel like one. But as you said, there really isn't ANYTHING on the "Future Friends" album that isn't great. Some of it makes you laugh your butt off, some of it makes you want to cry, but they're all beautifully performed. Enjoy them all in your own time. :)

So glad you got around to this one! I'd have to say that from this album, "Guy.exe" is my favorite, followed closely by this one. I loved seeing the other, more serious side of life. This one was done so well. The smoldering looks between them was awesome. I definitely think they should try professional acting at some point. Like everything else they do, I'd bet they would act extremely well! I know I would definitely buy a ticket to see them! Thanks for the great reaction!

Did oh to what everybody has said. I remember A relationship that ended And the guy was from Michigan. Not only could I not stop thinking about him I never saw so many license plates from Michigan and herd of Michigan On the TV and in newspapers. This had some parallels with My ex husband. As much as it hurts you still want to maintain a connection because that means they are in your life still. Kristin's song/video "break a little" Echoes the same thing. I so enjoy your reactions. This one was probably my favorite, too, though it's hard to say. I always rec it because not many reactors actually get to it. According to the people who track such things, Mitch's highest note officially recorded for a song was a Bb5 in the background harmony on this one.

This is such a sexy video! One of my favorites from Future Friends, I also love Bad 4 Us! Make sure when you watch that one to watch the one where they are singing not the animated one (it’s cutesy but not near as good). They made two videos for that one. Also I know you mainly do the music videos for Superfruit but they have a Pet Peeves (part 1&2) featuring Todrick Hall that is pretty funny!

Thanks for the great reaction to this video. Scott and Mitch had such "Chemistry" during the Suiperfruit years. Culminating is the great "Future Friends" music. But I find it amusing to see the comments about their "relationship", as it was, literally 4 years ago, being the same today. Pentatonix is on a super "High" right now. They are very prominent in all Social Media. Releasing new material almost weekly. Lot's of behind the scene material about the group is out there. Where is the Scott and Mitch "Chemistry" today? It is not "present" in their interactions at all. They work together. That is it. Hopefully their whole "Future Friends" theme will play out someday.

Yes the trio’s telephone was before Ptx. They didn’t end up singing it with Avi and Kevin until the day of their sing off audition. The trio performance of telephone was at their high school choir performance. Plus the one Scott posted to his channel of them singing it at one of their houses when they were trying to win a guest spot on Glee. There is however Ptx concert footage of telephone with Avi and Kevin since it was part of their tour set list in 2015.
