I'm actually starting to feel a bit sad that this game led me to believe it was a cool mystery game where you would solve monster related murders. Not only did you have the sightjacking but also posession of different bodies like a dog to sniff slitterhead stank or weird cultists to find out about Soylitterhead Green! Looked awsome! Then the combat started and now I'm just skimming through the videos to see if there's anything else going on.

A little more variety would be nice. And a little more time spent developing the Rarities and their relationships with Night Owl and each other. Unfortunately _Slitterhead_ gives me the impression of a game whose ambition is bigger than its budget.

At this point, it might be a good idea to look up translations for the Memories. They have to be manually translated, they never get descrambled for you unless something changed in a patch.

Ok, so with the somewhat spotty translation in this game... the title is almost certainly supposed to be "Slitherhead" right?

The Slitterheads do slit their hosts' heads open when emerging. I think Slitterhead was chosen because it's deliberately kind of uncomfortable to say.
