The thought that we were getting a third game in the Remothered franchise is scary for the wrong reasons... I'm immediately interested in the aesthetic of this game. Reminds me of Puppet Combo though they tend to focus on goofy slasher stuff.

IIRC there was supposed to be a third Remothered game, set inside the convent, but they couldn't afford it so the third game's story got mashed into the second game. Would explain a lot.

My current theory is that we were brother, but mother and sister died in some tragic event, and now father's pretending to be mother and brother while trying to convince us that WE are sister after 'the surgery'. It's a classic textbook case of Angela from Sleepaway Camp. I do like your theory though.

I dig this. It manages to find that Twin Peaks sweet spot between creepy and goofy. Lots of games nail the former but whiff on the latter, so this is a nice change of pace.

Why- oh okay nothing to do with Remothered. Well okay then. Although I find this style of game rather tiring now, too many with the same basic ideas behind them. When subversion is the norm you need to sell me on the journey and these rarely do.
