These guys are still fantastic. I wasnt a fan until they played in a bar i worked at "margaritas" in the Chase plaza Auckland about 1993/94. They were incredible and i have loved them ever since. I have kids now and they also dig the Groove!

I have the cd album of this. if this makes sense. I saw them live in the mid 90's, in a small pub in Fitzroy, in Aus, probably a Tuesday night, (at this stage they were unknown). It was just blind luck I saw them that night, I think I stopped in to get some water in this particular pub.They were so good I dragged all of my friends to the next gig, the next day. My mates, male and female, were so stoked. one of the best things I have ever done.

They are playing gigs again. A mate saw them in Wellington earlier this year. They also played a show in London this year.

What really sticks in my craw is that they only get ONE mention in the top 100 as defined by fuckin' APRA! Sounds like they weren't in the Old-boys club sucking-up to enough of the right people or something cos this whole freaking album IS NZ's best!!! Karl Steven is a genius of the highest order but most people in this country wouldn't even know who he is!!!! Thank God for Radio NZ and National Radio with their "Instruments of the Orchestra" series is all I can say.
