I happened to hear you guys play this live in Detroit for the NSP acoustic tour this year and I gotta say, it was an almost intimidating moment, humbling more like, the silence of the crowd while y'all plucked and strummed away. Not even a sound, dude, but the ambience, It was a powerful energy that is going to stick in my brain forever. This song means so much to me and to many of the others out there in that crowd and to hear y'all just happen to play that live, that shit was life changing and it brought tears to my eyes, I was holding my nose the whole song holding em back. Knowing y'all were playing for your friends and family in the crowd too, you guys rocked the hell out of it. I've been searching for different arrangements for this song. To make it sound good on two acoustics is very impressive, the control of the shifting dynamics (like swelling and fading in volume) and the subtle nuances of the harmonics add so much depth.
