This song reminds me of my sister. I heard it in a store and have known it for years. She is the light of my life my world my everything and ofc my sister. She has gone above and beyond for me. I’ve struggled for a very long time with mental health and have almost succeeded in ending my own life. And I’m so glad I lived. Lived for her, myself, my family, my dog, my friends. I’m so glad I made that promise to her that day, I know if I didn’t and if she wasn’t here I wouldn’t be either. She means everything to me and I cannot wait to make more loving and caring memories with her. I love you rain, with all my heart and soul. ❤️

I am my father's youngest daughter. I was a down hard alcoholic and addicted to benzos. chronically sick. Diagnosed with pancreatitis at 19. Major depression at 14. He finally had to kick me out when I was 21 because he couldn't enable my bad decisions any longer. After arrests, dui, and almost losing my home, I finally pulled my head out of my ass. I always heard my father's words "get your life together," "grow up, act your age," and "become someone I could be proud of" my motivation. I'm no longer his biggest disappointment. Instead, I have metamorphosized into the opposite, and he tells me how proud he is any chance he gets. I found this song through a meme recently, and I'm glad I did. It makes me cry. Gives me an understanding of how my father felt and it helps me heal more. Ty Superheaven.

Life was simpler back then. 9/11 kinda like started the whole deep state globalist takeover. It like triggers the apocalypse 😂 you can really see a huge shift in culture around the 2000s dude. Like everyone was pretty free spirited, then every year after 2001 got more and more depressing. I remember growing up me and my friends could run around the neighborhood and play in each others yards and we would have all the families have cookouts on holidays and birthdays and everyone could talk about politics and religion and life without it degenerating into violence or anger. No one had tablets or cellphones, no social media at all to make people feel envious or inadequate. I’m telling you the world will never go back to that again and it hurts my heart that y’all had to grow up in the midst of social media and All of this overstimulating anxious culture.

Lyrics: It's useless, I tried but to no avail To tell you how much I know, how much I care Come home Breathe until your lungs fail You can sing 'til you go deaf Every day that you don't call her I can feel it You're coming down I am sick I am horrified at everything I hear The youngest daughter lost her way Everyday repeats itself again The cycle of our misery, it drives us all insane Please come home The poison takes away from us Now you're sick to death from all the drugs Breathe until your lungs fail You can sing 'til you go deaf Every day that you don't call her I can feel it You're coming down

I’ve never heard this song, but it took me back to 04….school had just ended and I was supposed to meet my friends at the skatepark. This girl liked me, she left me a note to come hang out with her and smoke a cigarette by the swing-set next to the skate park. I was so awkward and shy. I thought she was so cool, with faded black jeans, a ripped up black hoodie covered in safety pins. I’m so glad I got to experience that slice of life. To sit there with her, angsty and awkward. How far I’ve come since then. Bunch of poor kids thinking we had the answers, but we really didn’t. Not a clue. I miss you Ashley. Thank you for thinking I was cool, and hanging out with me.

I feel the grunge/alternative rock could make a comeback. People want to see and hear actual musicians with talent using their vocals and instruments. Thats where the beauty is in music. The ability to invoke emotion with raw talent and ability. I think we've moved away from that with today's music
