I’ve gone back to the built in Blender tools for fracture and simulation. They are easier for me to direct or control. I found this video looking for additional refinements on a few scenes and you helped me improve my workflow and clarified some of the many settings. I’m pushing a creature out of the ground in one scene and simulations on their own are too reactive . So I’m manually moving the larger chunks with proportional turned on and also animating the gravity in project settings for the rigid elements. I’m able to get real specific for the stylized look I need. Anyway, I incorporated some of your techniques and it looks better now. Thanks for helping me!

do u know RBD lab ? all u did is in that addon combined :)
@Graphicalninja Жыл бұрын
I’ve heard of it yeah, it looks great. I just haven’t purchased because I don’t do a ton of destruction FX, and plus I’m waiting for physics in geometry nodes 🤔 a procedural physics/fracture system would revolutionize destruction in blender😎
@bUildYT Жыл бұрын
@@Graphicalninja true, eventually geo nodes will be able to alternate litteraly all vfx and cgi fields, the node idea from houdini combined with blenders interface and comunity will become hollywood standart 100% :D

hey there, im here for the somke sim part. My animation doesnt end where the simulation does. How can i make the smoke to disolve faster?
@Graphicalninja10 ай бұрын
Use the dissolve setting and turn down ‘time’. Time is how long it will take the smoke to dissipate in frames.

Why the effect on the intro has a lot of flying stones and has better lighting 🤔🤔

Yeah it’s hard to finesse everything during a tutorial so it’s a little different, but all the elements are the same
