Tesoros were made here in Prescott arizona and were loved by Placer prospectors because you can pickup iron rocks in cracks and pockets which was sitting on top of gold..I'm still hunting for a cheap lobo!🤠🌵⛏️🤘

Haven't got Lobo , got a rapier, Silver sabre plus, trident 1 & 2, Scout, Tejon, Compadre, Silver Sabre II, Mojave, Silver Micromax, Hawkeye, oh yes XP Goldmaxx mk1 & Power, CScope 6mxi, CScope1Mx just need to get out detecting. Have you tried any of the old Viking detectors, I reckon one of those would be good too, not deep..my old Detector dealer friend, sadly long pased away, said there was something about the early Vikings. Edward Fletcher promoted these too.

Heck! Cool as👍😁You own a metal detector treasure trove! Some actual Legends😉. More legends than most people've got "Legends", or found un-seeded Roman d's! Wow man! I've worked most of the ones you've got, but never held on to them. Only one I absolutely regret moving on was my "Euro" Tejon 'Pro' (black stem, wider Fe disc range ,for European market, with Pentechnics fixed GB option). I hope that you have a place you can take them if the solder points brittle-out and require attention.

Thruppence: pure gold for 60's school children. Tesoro Lobo: great machine for the purist..Thing that baffles me, Paul, is why people who intens(e)ly dis-like analogue machines; particularly Tesoros/Lasers, bother themselves by watching a metal detecting channel that champions said machines. Simple-minded self-abusers? Masochism by analogue metal detector? 'There's nowt as strange as folk'.

Strange isn't Tim, I only ever respond to the stupidity that I receive, I would never start it, like everything nowadays there's a pack mentality mainly by those who have got into the hobby over the past 7 years or so, the concept of metal detecting has been lost through sensationalism and commercialisation

@@paulwarrenmetaldetecting Correct. Everyone reacts differently Paul. I'm 65; old-school Cornish. Dad's 93, Mum's gone. Mum was Eire. That "Celt" hybrid breeding gave me a generally pleasant demeanour, with a silly hair-trigger, 'attack is best devence" reactive. That's why I keep from people. I've been "close" twice. Fear of being caged isn't nice, so I don't put myself in places that might carry that threat. Hence my antipathy toward horde metal detecting gatherings et al. I'm not anti-social per se, I simply prefer the company of good Human Beings, not slack-jawed, bothersome "things". Praps try to not give "trolls" any consideration. I think they feed on negativity. You provide us with a brilliantly informative channel. Your instructional teachings are genuinely top-drawer. You never bull-shit or flatter to deceive. You clearly know the craic.....
